I am Marc-André Bombeck – Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Kreisverwaltung Recklinghausen, currently based in Bochum, Germany. I'm leading the operational IT department, focusing on IT strategy, digital transformation, IT Service Management, and building resilient and secure infrastructures that support modern public administration.

Apart from my professional role, I’m passionate about information security and regularly take on challenges on platforms like HackTheBox or in CTF competitions to sharpen my skills. If you’re into that as well, feel free to join me for a #hackTogether.

I’m not a full-time developer, but I enjoy creating small tools and scripts that solve real-world problems and make life easier—whether in the office or at home. I also like experimenting with Linux, virtualization, and smart home automation projects.
