sooooo sick

So, Casey had to come home from school today because I was more sick and miserable than I have been in a long time! I was nautious, throwing up, and everything else that should not be mentioned here since yesterday afternoon. Ella had the opportunity of watching me throw up once and she said, "EEEEw, Gross!" (short pause) "Can you do that again, mommy?" She also tried to make me feel better by playing dress up and having a tea party. It works for her, should work for me too! It must have worked to some extent-- I am feeling a bit better right now!

Nana and Papa were here

Here is Nana Lyn and Baby Jessa. Jessa is 3 months old! She and Hadley are best friends! Hadley likes to squeeze and scratch her (out of love, I assure you) and Jessa laughs and smiles when she sees Hadley. Ella likes to be the mommy to both of them. She enjoys telling Lisa everytime Jessa starts crying, because Lisa obviously needs the help of an experienced 3 1/2 year old... and she does it with a tinge of attitude that only Ella can portrey and still be cute.

Hadley entertained us all weekend with her "cheesy smile". She loved the attention she got every time she did it and therefore did it over and over again! She may have been showing off the three new teeth she is getting (at the same time, mind you)...She has a whopping four teeth now--- going straight for the steak and potatoes! If you look super close, you can see the newest one glistening in the dim yet substantial light at Olive Garden....

MS Walk 2008

The MS walk was cold! It was starting to snow when we started, but by mile 3, we were all shedding our layers.... Here are some pics from "Team: Shawna"....

Ella and Logan-- Friends forever. They were trooopers. Ella traveled the three miles on daddy's back and Logan took a ride in the double stroller with her baby cousin Hadley.

So, Hadley is now taking several steps on her own-- 4-5 at a time-- and then cracking up at herself for doing it. I would get a picture of it, except Ella accidentally broke our camera (again)....But, here are some pics that were taken before that tragic accident......

Today = four

Its our anniversary! Casey has arranged a sitter and we're going out... maybe a movie, maybe some sushi....we'll see!

FINALLY, a few updates!!!

Hello ALL,

First of all, we want to apologize for being so "lazy" at not keeping our posts up to date. We have a ton of pictures and over the last couple of weeks seemed to LOSE our camera. It was nowhere to be found until a couple of days ago. WE FOUND IT....YEAH!!!! So here are some pictures from our recent adventures.

The first bunch here is from our visit to Baker City during my (Casey's) Spring Break. We took a bunch of pics at my Aunt Sandee's house of Hadley, Ella, and cousin Olivia. Hadley and Olivia, for those of you who don't know, were born on the exact same day last year. Which means they are both 10 months old and it's fun to compare/contrast their actions. While Hadley is smaller, Olivia is bigger. While Hadley has hair, Olivia is pretty much BALD. :-) However, Hadley had a fun time working on and crawling all over Olivia much to her suprise. I think it's because of Ella, she makes Hadley pretty strong and Hadley won't put up with much of Ella!!!

WHAT did you say about my DADDY??? I'm ready to go rounds!

Well, we decided to have Ella stay with Grandma Shawna and Grandpa Glen for a couple of days and here's some of the pics from those days. Ella helped Grandma make a Banana Cream Pie. She had so much fun!!!
