Day 363 - Wednesday

This is what a double wide recliner is all about!!!


I just looked at today's #, 363.
Seeing as we only have 1 more day in the year, I obviously miss counted somewhere!
After going back and checking.....yep, in Sept. I typed the same # twice.
Oh, well.......not worth the effort to change them all!!!

Day 362 - Tuesday

While I was at work today, my oldest son completely took down the Christmas tree for me. And my youngest addressed all my Christmas card envelopes!!

I do love those boys!

Day 361 - Monday

one of my favorite parts of the holiday's is receiving all the Christmas cards. I love reading about what everyone has been doing all year and getting caught up!

Mine have yet to go out......again.

Day 360 - Sunday

Back to reality.

Day 359 - Saturday

I can NOT believe I am still baking....
....I truly am sugared out!

But these are for Children's church tomorrow.

I should have gotten a picture of my crazy trip to the mall with my kids, but I forgot!

Day 358 - Friday

This is my favorite picture of the day!

My mom gave each of my kids something of hers this year and Alyssa received a coveted antique ice cream mold. Can you tell she was just a bit excited?
But what is so wonderful to me is that the kids were so thrilled to receive something that was special and important to their grandmother.

We are by candle light because we do not have power.

But you know what...it was actually really great!!!

I got to have breakfast with Elizabeth from Finding Him Bigger today!
She is home for Christmas and we had a great time!!
It really is so fun to get to know blogging friends in person.

We found Alyssa's first gray hair today!
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Baking with my kids today....

Day 353 - Sunday

Today our Sunday School lesson was on the 3 gifts the wise men brought to Jesus. This is Frankincense we had burning when they came in.

Day 352 - Saturday

Our day started off with a family breakfast.
homemade biscuits and sausage gravy!!

And the day ended with a family game.
We all played settlers of Catan..
...I won the first game!!!

It was an all around great day!

Day 351 - Friday

We had a tag-a-long on our breakfast date today!!
(wow, I look tired and I desperately need lipstick on!)

I spent the afternoon making jewelry with my friend, Dena.
So much fun!!

Day 349 - Wednesday

The youth group meets at our house on Wednesdays.
Usually we leave for our small group, but this week we stuck around for a while.
It was LOUD!!

Day 348 - Tuesday

Today, I went out after work to get some Christmas shopping done...
.....now I remember why I usually don't wait this late to shop!!

I also came home with one of these.....

....a ticket......ugh!

These are 2 of my neighbors
Mandy (the in black) battled colon cancer this year and beat it!! Last weekend, she walked a 1/2 marathon. So we decided we needed celebratory pedicures!!! I am so fortunate to have such great neighbors and friends!!!

Making spiced ornaments tonight.
Wow, do they smell good!!

Day 342 - Wednesday

Mom and Dad left this morning and I was back to work.
I spent my time learning a new computer system we now have....ugh!

Day 341 - Tuesday

my boys had their Christmas band concert tonight.
It was AWESOME!!

But THIS was hilarious.....

Mom and I worked all day on a digital calendar for her 60th High School reunion. It turned out so good!

Day 339 - Sunday

We decorated our tree tonight.
Putting the angel on the top was even more meaningful this year.
My Aunt gave Steve and me this angel the 1st year of our marriage.

Day 338 - Saturday

My parents flew in today for a quick visit!!!
...and no, my mom is not a 2 fisted ice cream eater...
..she's holding MINE!

IFO Christmas party
International Friendship Outreach

we had over 350 internationals at our church for a Christmas dinner, party and program.

each was given a gift and for many it was the first and maybe only time they will hear the message of Christ.

Day 336 - Thursday

Got up this morning and climbed Pinnacle mountain.
It was a perfect day and an amazing view!!
