Oh but don't worry... we're not gone. We're still very much here. Just not here here. Anyway, you can find us at http://www.BoydandSarah.com it's going to be fun. I promise...

I will admit, 9 years ago when I met Jayme, I would have never thought I'd see her doing this...
I'm so proud. :)
We made a big mess of her dining room.
I took some pics of Jayme and Liv in downtown Santa Rosa.

We had a fun evening at the park. Eli scratched up his nose pretty bad as you will see in subsequent pics...
My friend Loni and her son Jaxson came into town after I got back. Jaxson and Eli are almost exactly 1 year apart! They are buds! We went to Amazing Jakes one morning and it was SO much fun! The boys practically had the whole place to themselves. It's like an indoor amusement park for little kids. They were amused for sure!
Unfortunately, we went during Eli's morning nap, so he was a little bit temperamental, but for the most part he held it together. Just a few freak outs...
This particular freak out was for no reason at all. It lasted about 10 seconds. Sometimes, you just gotta let it out I guess.
And then he was back to being happy. Here he is running with a cookie. Such glee.
They have lots of cool things at Amazing Jakes!!
In Daddy's shoes. Eli is getting so big and really starting to identify things. He always tries to put our shoes on. He managed to get his feet into Boyd's shoes and tried to walk around in them. It was so cute. Glad I had my camera handy.
Football man. He loves balls and says "ball ball ball" all the time. He knows the difference between a regular ball and a football. Boyd had the game on one night (most nights) and Eli went and grabbed his football and started throwing it around. :) (Thanks for the jammies Sharon! They're great!)
Later in the month, we had a little BBQ and Mom and Dad P's house. Boyd's mom has been in town the whole month and it was fun to go over to thier house and have a nice dinner. Eli and Hailey got to sit at the "little" table. It was so cute because they actually sat there and ate! Sorry this is such a crazy pic, it looked horrible right out of my camera so I had to "fancy" it up for you. :)
I took some family pictures of Cameron, Alicia, Hailey and Aubrey. It was super fun.
I love Hailey's expression in this one.
Beautiful girl!
The zoo! I've been a total flake lately and kept canceling our planned zoo trip. I was finally able to lock down a day and time and we met Alicia, Hailey, Aubrey and Alicia's sister Rachel at the zoo. It was so nice. It has been really warm here and it made for a nice day out.
Yes I know, he needs a haircut...
Yea!!! Eli loves trucks!
And he loves to clap.
Buy a box of these. I don't care what your reason is not to. They are divine. They only come out once a year, so just do it. You know you want to. I love them. They made their way into my Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving! This year, my parents abandoned me and went up to Seattle for Thanksgiving, leaving me to fend for my family. :) (it's okay Mom and Dad, I forgive you) It was my first year away from my family for Thanksgiving and I was pretty bummed. I even looked at ticket prices to Seattle a few days beforehand, I didn't have $1,000 laying around to take a last minute flight up there, so I cooked Thanksgiving dinner myself. I'm probably one of the few wives that actually had to convince her husband to let her cook Thanksgiving dinner, but that's okay. :) He wanted to go out, but I just couldn't bare the thought. Thanksgiving to me is all about cooking. The smells in the kitchen, the mess, I love it all. I did it and it turned out great!
I even dressed the table up just a tad...
Eli has a cold and didn't want anything to do with dinner, but wanted EVERYTHING to do with dessert. Go figure. Notice his sleeveless shirt...no I'm not a cruel mother and subject my child to being cold. It was EIGHTY DEGREES OUT! SO HOT! I actually ran a 10k that morning and just about DIED from heat exhaustion...only in Arizona....
