Missing Mass.

This move to Hawaii has been pretty hard on me. I miss Massachusetts so much! I miss my friends, my ward, Wellesley college, MIT, volleyball, my home, my neighbors the area--everything! On Sunday, during the Relief Society lesson, the instructor played part of the Rascal Flatts song, "My Wish" (Songwriters: Jeffrey Steele;Stephen Robson). The words really touched me. Here is part of the lyrics:

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow
And each road leads you where you want to go
And if you're faced with a choice and you have to choose
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you

And if one door opens to another door closed
I hope you keep on walkin' til you find the window
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile
But more than anything, more than anything

My wish for you
Is that this life becomes all that you want it to
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small
You never need to carry more than you can hold

And while you're out there gettin' where you're gettin' to
I hope you know somebody loves you
And wants the same things too
Yeah, this is my wish

I hope you never look back but you never forget
All the ones who love you and the place you left
I hope you always forgive and you never regret
And you help somebody every chance you get

Oh, you'd find God's grace in every mistake
And always give more than you take
...

Just a reminder that I have to keep going and look for my "window."
I do still miss MA though, something fierce.

Last Good Harbor Beach Day

What a perfect day to call our last beach day in Massachusetts. We were lucky to have so many friends show up to spend it with us (a few are captured in the following photos). We have LOVED this beach! It's definitely our favorite--great sand for volleyball, a little river to float on, waves to play in, and an island to wade over to and jump off rocks from. Good Harbor Beach, you will be missed by the Trimbles!

Silly Pictures Together

Right after Zac's graduation we donned both of our robes and took pictures together on our two college campuses (MIT and Wellesley). We had so much fun. Graduation felt like an awesome accomplishment individually, as a couple and as a family. I'm so glad we graduated the same year.
