Life lately

We have been pretty busy lately, at work and at home. At work, we are building a brand new gym!

That’s what it looked like earlier this week. I have been swamped with everything from pricing a sound system to trying to find someone to clean the thing! Right now, it looks like we will be opening the gym in January!

At home, we are busy busy with church and life in general. Noah LOVES playing outside but we don’t have any toys for him to play with out there. So he plays with the watering can…

…and the hose reeler-upper thing.

We are hoping to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend. The rest of our weekends in October are filling up fast with birthday parties, baby showers and a little vacation for us!

I am currently reading…

and I LOVE it! I’m not a big reader, but I’m actually enjoying this book…about half way finished!

I think that about catches things up!

Sepia tone

That just makes me laugh. I suck at editing photos, in case you weren’t aware already. That picture is of me and my sweet, sweet grandmother, Big Mama. And it’s also my best attempt at ‘sepia tone-ing’ a photo. Don’t laugh. And yes I had to look up ‘sepia tone’ on the internet. Don’t judge me. :)

Sweet little baby!

I’m not going to lie, I’ve got the fever a little bit. We have always said we wanted 4-5 years between kids (mainly because daycare is so expensive and we didn’t want two kids in daycare at the same time) but lately it seems like all the people I was pregnant with the first go-round are pregnant again!

But realistically, it’s probably not going to happen any time soon! Sad!

I quit

So I religiously did Weight Watchers for 4 days and am officially over it. That was fast, I know! :) I think I lost around 2 pounds in those four days though. I just can’t deny my food! Oh well, maybe next time!

Weight Watchers

We had a fun-filled weekend! Friday night, Brad and I stuffed our faces with some friends at my all-time favorite restaurant, PFChang's. Yes we had to drive an hour to get there, yes I had an appetizer, soup, an entree AND dessert!

And the reason I went all-out was because it was my ‘last supper’. Because....the very next day, I started Weight Watchers again! It's hard to get used to because the last time I did WW the whole point system was different, but I'm still sticking with it. I weigh less now than I did before I got pregnant with Noah but things shifted around and I still have a little pudginess that I don't want! SO to give myself accountability, I'm going to do the unthinkable and post my weekly weight and bare belly picture! Gasp!! I know, but I'm super excited to be able to see my progress in pictures! My weigh day is Saturday so as of then, my starting weight is 132.2.

Please excuse my dirty hair-sprayed mirror. I will clean it this week!

This is with no sucking in, but the picture was taken first thing in the morning so the fatness really hadn’t had a chance to settle in for the day. :)

 

I want to get to 120 so I've got 12.2 pounds to lose! Wish me luck!!

Wedding weekend

My step-sister, Katie, got married on 9-10-11! I was a bridesmaid and Noah was a ringbearer! I was really nervous about how he would do walking down the aisle by himself but he did a fabulous job! I snagged a few pictures off Facebook until we get the real pictures back from the photographer!

Pets

Bella was my baby for three years. I dressed her up, took her to my Mom’s every day for ‘doggy daycare’ so she wouldn’t have to be alone while I was at work, and made sure she was always well-groomed. Then on February 9, 2010, Bella was removed from her position as the baby of the family…..to the position of…the dog. We love her so much and now she and Noah are best friends! She is so great with him and lets him lay all over her and pull her hair. She doesn’t mind one bit! She completes our little family…for now! :)
