Halloween

I completely missed out on writing Cason’s 10 month post, but this can serve as his 10 month picture!

Before we get to Halloween, we had two birthdays to celebrate. The first was that of my 86 year old grandmother, Big Mama!

Next, was my nephew Griffin! I somehow managed to not get a picture with him, but here are a few of my little fam skating at his party!

And an extra of my little buddy being his silly self!

Ok now on to Halloween. A few days before, we had our annual Trunk-or-Treat at church and the boys got to wear their costumes.

Well, Noah got to wear his. Cason didn’t because it was 5000 degrees outside that day. So he settled for his favorite vampire shirt and a sucker instead.

On actual Halloween, Noah wore his costume to school (he’s Mike the Knight by the way!). I got a phone call from school about midday that Noah was playing Simon Says and spun around right into a bookcase and needed stitches (this would be the second time in a few weeks) on the back of his head.

He is becoming a pro at getting stitches!

That night, the cousins came over to trick-or-treat with us!

I begged and begged Brad to let me dress Noah as a lobster for his first Halloween and he flat out refused it. But this go around, I got my way!!

LOVE IT!!!

We had a very Happy Halloween!!

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to a different pumpkin patch this year and we LOVED it!! (Which is why you are about to see 574 pictures!) It had been warm around the time we went, but on this particular day it was FREEZING and the wind was blowing like crazy. So we bundled up the baby…

and then came the corn maze!

We like to do fun holiday adventures with our cousins, of course!

After we all survived the corn maze, it was time for a group cousin picture! With six kids, we consider having them all in the same shot a success!

Up next, my little fam jam.

Then, we found a really big slide made out of a culvert that Noah was dying to ride.

And Brad went down with Cason!

They also had big jumpy houses, which are always a hit with Noah! We caught him mid-air!

Then we headed to the corn tubs. Cason was not a fan, but Noah LOVED it!

Thennnnn, the piles and piles of hay bales! Noah was a little apprehensive at first, but after Daddy climbed to the top with him, he gained his confidence.

Baby bro and I stayed safely on the ground!

These two cousins LURVE each other. Hard!

We had a little time to kill before heading out on the hay ride to get our pumpkins, so petting zoo time!

Then we headed out to pick our pumpkins!

After all of that fun, we were ALL worn out. So we let Noah get his face painted like a ninja turtle and then headed to the house!

Both kids were asleep by the time we hit the interstate!

Cason’s first haircut!

I am sooooo behind with blogging, friends! And because my sister keeps hounding me that I will regret it down the road, I am attempting to catch up. Back in SEPTEMBER, Cason got his first haircut! He’s had a couple more since then actually.

Here are a few ‘before’ shots of him.

He was so excited that he got to sit up in the airplane car. He thought he was super cool!

He stayed pretty still throughout his haircut. I was surprised!

Brad’s mom came to help and offer moral support! Haha

Look at that big boy haircut! Noah came with us and got his hair cut, too, but the place has a little play area for the kids and Noah was too busy to join us for pictures!

Little Man also got his first sucker for doing such a great job!
