Girls Day Out

I was talking to my sister Nichole last week and she told me she was taking her daughter Kadence to see Beauty and the Beast. I thought that was a great idea for a one on one for Taylee and I. I really have not had alone time with Taylee since Remi was born.
So yesterday after Remi's doctors appointment, which by the way was awesome. She is very healthy and doing great. Back to Taylee, When I got home I asked her if she wanted to go see a movie with me and she got really excited and said, "go to movie with mommy". So we got ready and I grabbed my purse and she wanted her purse. She kept saying white purse. It was so cute.
When we got to the movie she saw a big poster of Beauty and the Beast and got so excited. I just wish I had my camera. After we got our treat and got comfortable in our seat I realized that no one else was there. We had the whole theater to ourselves. It was awesome. Beauty and the Beast is one of Taylee's favorite movies. While we were watching it she was singing every song at the top of her lungs and quoting almost every line. I just sat back and had the biggest smile on my face. I love being a mom and moments like that are so special.
At home when Taylee watches Beauty and the Beast it doesn't matter where I am she always finds me when Belle and the Beast are dancing because she loves to dance with me or Brady during that part. So when that part come on in the theater she still wanted to dance. I felt a little silly since we were not at home, but I realized no one was in there so we danced and we had so much fun. Yesterday was one of the best days ever. I definitely will remember it forever.

Fun Stuff!!!

Christmas Eve
Image
Christmas Eve this year was so much fun. Last year we started going to the Mesa
Temple to see the lights and thought we would make it a tradition. The lights and nativity scene were so beautiful. Taylee was so excited to see everything. I love seeing her face light up. Remi really didn't know what was going on, but I could tell she was having fun. When we got home we opened Christmas Eve pj's and watch our favorite Christmas Eve movie, The Muppets' Christmas Carol and went to bed. It was a wonderful, fun night.

Christmas Day

Image
Christmas day was awesome! The girls got up around eight in the morning. When Taylee saw all the presents under the tree she had the biggest smile on her face. She really wanted to open the presents, but our church started at nine so we thought we would wait until after church to open our presents so we didn't have to rush. I loved having Christmas on a Sunday. Our Christmas program was so great and the music was beautiful. When we got home it was time to open our presents. I thought for sure Taylee would have so much fun opening her stuff, but after her third present she just wanted to play with her toys. It took us about two hours just to open her presents. It's a good thing we had no other place to go. Remi loved the paper. She had fun putting it in her mouth and watching what we were doing. She is so chill, I love it. Christmas was amazing. We had so much fun hanging out with each other.
Thank you family for all the gifts. You spoiled us once again. We love you.
Merry Christmas.

Potty Training Reward!!!
Image
So about five months ago Brady and I decided to potty train Taylee. Potty training, I have to say, is one of the hardest things I have ever done. It took about four days once we really stuck with the plan. After a couple of months of not having any accidents we wanted to reward her by taking her to Chuck E. Cheese. She had a ball playing some of the games and riding the rides, but she wanted nothing to do with the giant mouse. We are so proud of how awesome she is doing by going to the potty all by herself.

I love having two girls they have been such a blessing
in our lives. Taylee is a big help. She loves to help dress her
and get me the diapers and wipes. The way Taylee looks at Remi is priceless.
I just hope they can always get along. Mothers Day was so awesome watching my family
together. It is just us out here in Arizona and I love how we have grown as one. Life really is perfect.

Remi Mae is here!!!

From the time I was 30 weeks my doctor told me I was probably going to have a big baby so we started talking about being induced a week early. May 12th was the day I was scheduled to have our baby. My family flew out and I was so excited to see them. That morning was very relaxing. My sisters, my mom and I went swimming and then we spent the rest of the day visiting. I wasn't scheduled until nine that night so we had a lot of time to spare. When we got to the hospital I was so nervous and excited. I asked for my mom, Nichole and Makale to be in the room with Brady and I. Shalee was so nice and volunteered to stay behind to watch Maddex and Taylee. They hooked me up to all the machines after that the action began. I waited until I was dilated to a five before I asked for an epidural. A few hours after that I was dilated to a ten and ready to push. I only had to push for 15 min and our little angle was here. My labor was a total of six hours. So much nicer than it was with Taylee. Remi Mae was born at 3:24 am on April 13th. She weighed 8 lbs 7oz and was 21" long. If I would have waited for her to come on her own could you imagine how much she would of weighed. We are so happy she is here and healthy. Thank you family for sharing our special day with us.

Best Friends all ready.
I think Taylee is so excited to be a big sister. She loves
to hold Remi and give her lots of kisses. Brady and I are so
proud of our family. It is so fun watching our two
gorgeous girls together. Life is so perfect.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Here is a little update for those who don't know what's been going on with us. First off Brady got a promotion. We are so proud of him and all his hard work. His new position moved our little family to Mesa Arizona. He is working in Phoenix. We are really enjoying it here. Second, we are adding another baby girl to our family in April and are very excited about that.

CHRISTMAS EVE

For Christmas Eve we went to the Mesa Temple to see the lights.
Taylee was so excited to see all the pretty lights I thought she was
going to jump right out of her stroller. It was so peaceful walking around the temple
and seeing everything. When we got home we opened up our Christmas Eve pj's, watched "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and then went to bed.

CHRISTMAS MORNING
Image

Christmas day was awesome. Taylee got up around six in
the morning and I thought for sure we would just put her in
our bed and go back to sleep for a little bit, but Brady was so excited
he wanted to start opening presents. Santa sure did a great job this year.
Taylee got a Buggy car, a pillow pet, coloring book, shoes, blocks, and clothes.
Of course Nana and Papa Fitzgerald spoiled her and Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell did too.

After we opened presents Brady and I made a huge breakfast.
There was way to much for three people, but it was so good.
The weather was beautiful so as soon as Brady was done putting
Taylee's new car together we took it outside for a little ride. Taylee
had a ball. We played catch as a family then went inside for a nap.
We really missed our family, but overall Christmas this year was awesome.

MERRY CHRISTMAS we love and miss you all:)

Taylee turned one on May 25th. We were able to go to Brady's family
and mine for her birthday so it ended up being a fun little vacation. My sister Nichole and her family got to come celebrate Taylee's special day. It was so fun decorating my moms home for the party and seeing all the kids play and have a great time together. Watching Taylee eat her cake was very funny. She really didn't know what to do until Brady gave her a little taste. She dived right in and enjoyed every minute of it. Brady and I sure did love seeing how big our baby girl is getting. We went down memory lane of when she was born and how amazing that day was. And now she is one year old. How time flies. I am so very thankful for my whole family. Thank you for always showing us your support.
