Back to School

After a little break, Livi and I headed back to school this week! Livi graduated to the toddler class, which made mommy super sad. BUT even though I had to come to grips with the fact that she's not a baby anymore, it has been a great thing. We love her teachers, and she LOVES going to "school." They do crafts everyday, read, sing and dance, play outside, and what's wonderful is that she gets to stick with her same four friends. She has been extra tired at night, so she has definitely been busy exploring her new room--lots of new things to see and do! Here is a picture of her first day in her new class:

And here she is before her first tumbling class! She loves taking tumbling every Tuesday, but the highlight for her is getting a sticker at the end of class. Stinker!

And after I sadly said good-bye to my awesome co-workers at the hospital, I am headed back to school...as an occupational therapist of course! I have LOVED working in a hospital setting for 5+ years, but I have been amazingly blessed with the opportunity to work in our local school systems. This change of direction has required LOTS of prayer and hard work (from B too...thank you, honey!), but I am so excited to pursue a new area of OT. The best part is that I will now be committed to working only 3 days a week during the school year, which will make for much more time for family and ministry. I am beyond grateful, and I cannot wait to meet all of my kiddos! All 80 of them!!

Toys, Toys, Toys

Ok, I had had it up to here with toys! Thankfully although our townhouse is small, we have a huge coat closet that takes up the space underneath the stairs. So today I had an OCD breakdown and turned this:
