Seattle
After Elisha's first set of tests at school, he needed a much needed getaway. So for Labor Day weekend we decided to get away and head to Seattle. We had lots of fun! We visited the Science Center, Space Needle and Pike's Place Market. Seattle is a beautiful place, great views, great food and great family fun. We loved it so much we plan to visit again!

Our Med Student
So the whole reason we came to Yakima, WA is because Elisha got into Medical School. For the next 4 years he will be attending Pacific Northwest University. So far we really love it here and have met some really wonderful people.
August 1, 2011-1st day of school! We are so proud of you!

Our final stop Eugene, Oregon to see Elisha's brother, Aunt Trisha and his grandma. It Was a short but fun trip. I guess by this time I was tired of taking pictures because I have none of his brother or of us raspberry picking. Yakima, WA here we come!!!

Day 11-13
June 11-13
We had such a great time in Utah, it was beautiful. We were able to see Elisha's sister Tyrena and her beautiful family and were were able to see our great friends the Bobka's!!! We have missed them so much and it was great to see them. We hung out with them at Temple square and then they were kind enough to have us over for dinner, where we hung out just like old times plus a few extra kids! We were able to see them all 3 days, lunch outings and shopping fun! Wish we would have had more time.

Road Trip Day 9&10
June 9&10
We only had one day where we would be able to go to the mountain to see Mount Rushmore, so to hear that it was cloudy and not visible was really disappointing. We had been watching a live feed online of the mountain top and we could see the clouds constantly moving so we went and waited for the sky to clear up. We had been there for a half hour when we got our first glimpse and it was so exciting and then just minutes later it was perfectly clear and beautiful. This was fun to see and everyone had a great time!
