The Big 5

God has truly blessed me in the past 5 years. I married the most amazing man who I am so thankful is also my best friend, and he has given us 2 of the most amazing children. What more could I ask for. I thank Him every day and I can't wait for the rest of our lives.

Kimber's 1st Birthday

Its hard to believe are precious little girl is 1 years old. She doesn't even seem one to me because she seems so much smaller than Briley. (We don't have the official stats but those are soon to come). She has so much personality and is so much fun to be around. We aren't walking yet but she is sooooo close. She takes a few steps here and there, but I am definitely not rushing things, I do enough chasing from Briley. I am also looking forward to the day when she says "mama". For now everything seems to be "dada", which is okay because she is definitely a daddy's girl. She is going to be a strong girl who doesn't back down. She won't let her brother push her around. She either gets angry back or she gets so upset that you can't help but feel bad for her. We are looking forward to watching her grow up to be a beautiful young lady and God has truly blessed us with amazing children.

Her birthday was a flower/garden theme at the park. Which, by the way, is a perfect place to keep an almost 3 year old entertained, and not focused on the fact that the day is not about him :)

I was kind of glad she wasn't walking because her really cute shoes are not the best for that. But at least they were cute.

Ringing in 2011, Perkins' Style

Well since Brian didn't get in town until late and the kids were in bed by 9pm, we had to have a little new years celebration. This didn't bother me one bit, since being with Brian (and my children in bed) is all I needed to have a great night. I can't wait to see what God has in store for the Perkins' family for 2011, but I know they will be amazing.

Image Somewhere along the way I lost all of my strength and I had an incredibly hard time opening the champagne bottle.

And since we got to celebrate with NYC we were in bed by 11:30.

Well another Christmas has come and gone and it was an AMAZING one at that. Brian and I were adamant at getting naps and bedtime on Christmas Eve right so that our children were happy and rested for the big day. Both kids had so much fun opening presents and playing with toys all day. I am currently in the process of going through old toys to make sure there is room for all the others. These are just a few pictures of the hundreds that were taken.

Multi-tasking at its cutest

I wish I could post more cute videos and pictures but I just can't find the time. But Grammy taught Kimber to wave hello and goodbye and its so cute. She can even do it while she crawls.

Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween this year with Briley getting a little more excited about all the candy. I will probably be trying to get the kids to coordinate for the next several years, so this year we went with a kitty and puppy. Unfortunately Briley wasn't too thrilled about the costumes so we didn't get any cute pictures of the two. But he still had tons of fun and he was so excited about the hundreds of dum-dums he recieved. He usually asks for one first thing in the morning (don't worry I definitely say No to this one).

Image Kimber made a cute little kitty cat and she was perfect all night.

ImageThe trunk-or-treat was awesome becuase we got to hit up so many cars without going door to door. Briley did great (he was a little grabby with the candy), but he always said "tanks".
