Happy 2012!

Zoo Light Safari

Tonight we went to Zoo Light Safari. It was a relatively warm night (high 50s - 60). We were so sick before Christmas that we never made it there. Graham seemed to enjoy riding the train of course.

Mama's 90th Birthday Party

We had a surprise 90th birthday party for Mama on her birthday, December 26. Lots of extended family came too and she seemed to have a great time.

 

Franks Christmas

We spent Christmas night at Daddy's parents house. Graham ran in circles around their newly remodeled house but fortunately did not do any damage. His uncles played and played with him. He loved riding on their shoulders, pointing and saying "Away!" He was so tired that he was even more subdued the next day. However, we think he wore the uncles out too! There Graham got a tool bench and the tools to go with it. He loved wearing the safety goggles and playing with the drill. He also got another train (Victor) which he would not put down and a magnetic drawing board.

 

 

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas morning at home. Santa brought Graham a castle, a remote control tractor, a new napmat, books, and an ABC zoo. He seemed to get the most excited over the remote control tractor, but seemed to like the castle too. (He better. An elf told Mommy it was very difficult to put together.) We did light a birthday candle for Jesus and sing Happy Birthday. Graham even blew out his candle (which neither Mommy nor Daddy knew that he knew how to do that). We are very blessed!

Johnson Family Christmas

As usual, Mommy's family celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve. This time Graham wasn't sick, but Mommy and Daddy were. It's apparently our Christmas tradition! Graham had been sick earlier in the week...Anyway, he got tons of stuff including a basketball goal and a Thomas the Wooden Railway train set which he LOVES.

22 Months

Wow! Mommy is behind on blogging. Graham turned 22 months on December 2nd and what a month it has been! He learned to climb out of his crib the second weekend in December. Mommy was in his room putting things away and when she turned around, Graham was straddling the rail of his crib like a horse! We took the front off of the crib and essentially turned it into a toddler bed. He did great in it the first night, but now that he realizes he can get up, getting him to bed is quite the challenge!

The other big news is that Graham has went to the potty a few times. Usually, he sits on the potty before his bath and sometimes goes with the running water, but last weekend, he came running into Mommy and Daddy's room screaming "diaper! diaper! diaper!" and doing the pee pee dance so we took him to the potty and he went!.
