Sea World: Part 2 - The shows

The shows were awesome too. We only saw 3 shows. If you plan to go to Sea World, I highly recommend that you get there at openning and have your trip planned out. There are too many fun things to skip. We didn't even have time to do the water park. Everything we did do was a lot of fun though.

Evan absolutely loved the shows. He sat so still and watching everything. He would look at me and say "ish" with a real excited high pitched tone. He really loved them.

Poor Luc wanted so badly to see Elmo. He got to see him for a brief second. Bert and Ernie had to do for our picture. Ernie kept slapping me in the face with that big ear of his.

Thankfully, there are lots of places to cool off. It was HOT!

This show was great! There were beluga whales, dolphins, synchronized swimmers, and acrobats. It was worth the trip itself. Though I did think this guy looked really funny.

Evan loved the whole show. I have never seen Evan sit so still for so long.

These guys were swinging then flying off the swings to dive into the water. It looked liek so much fun. I really want their job.

Evan also enjoyed teh aquariums.

Thank you so much for taking us Mama and Daddy! We all had so much fun!

Sea World: Part 1 - The rides

My parents treated us to Sea World last week while they were here. It was so much fun. I have always wanted to go there. I finally got my chance and we all had a great time.

Luc wanted to ride the rides so bad. He was able to ride two.

Who let that big kid on?
Image
Luc looks pretty uncomfortable/scared but he wanted to ride this one over and over.
Image
Poor Evan wasn't big enough to ride anything but he sure did want to.
Image
Brian and I got to ride our first roller coaster together. Growing up, my family visited Six Flags every year. I have really missed those days. This was a lot of fun for us. We are in the fourth car in the middle row. I really regret not buying the picture that the park takes as you go down that first hill. Brian's expression was AWESOME!
Image
Luc wanted to ride the big roller coaster so bad. He did get to ride the water roller coaster which was pretty huge. That hill even took my stomach a little. Brian, Luc, and I rode first. Then he wanted GiGi and Papa John to ride again with him. He looked terrified in the pictures but he said it was his favorite.

What a big boy!

Fourth of July

We celebrated our country with the Georges again this year. Last year we took our kids to Iguana Grill in hopes to see fireworks. We were a little let down with our "firework" show but we had fun.

This year we all went to a park in Cedar Park. The kids had fun bouncing. We are in a severe drought so no fireworks were in Austin or Cedar Park. I guess they felt safe shooting them over Lake LBJ. Anyway, an interesting group, Arc Attack, replaced fireworks in Cedar Park this year. We really enjoyed watching them.

Fireworks

Luc and Kelsea watched from the lake side. Luc did great this year. In the past, he has enjoyed watching but not the noise. He enjoyed everything this year.

Firework pictures are pretty boring but I like to look back at them sometimes.

Evan was scared at first but I guess not scared enough to keep him awake.

Lake LBJ and Pre-4th of July Festivities

Jamie and Kelsea invited us to come to their awesome lake house this weekend. Of course, we jumped on that offer. ;)

Kelsea showed us her super fun wave runner. Luc loved it!

The boys got to play at a beach.

Brian worked on his tan.

Daddy threw Mama off the wave runner and flipped it.

Kelsea tried to throw me off but only gave me a major wedgie.

And this is their beautiful lake house.

Evan loved running around on the soft green grass.

The sunset was beautiful

Evan tried to make everyone laugh at him all day.
