Shirley
Emma is 4.5 years old. She's independent. She's particular regarding her clothes and how she wears her hair. Speaking of hair... we broke out the rollers the other night. She woke up the next morning with a little blonde fro... she was in love! We took photos and she turned up the dramatics. I've been informed that we will be putting rollers back in her hair tonight after her bath... sounds good to me.

I'm a little late in posting these, but I wanted to document my little sweetie-pie in photo's as she starts each new year in school. Emma is in her second year of pre-school. Normally I wouldn't have had her in school so early, but do to her hearing loss we are trying to make sure she stays up with kids her age that have "normal" hearing.
Briggy just about had a minor meltdown the other day when he realized that she starts kindergarten next fall... I say... let's not get ahead of ourselves:)

Jordan's baptism & Fishlake weekend
It was Jordan's birthday on the 5th of August. She will always remember her baptism date because she was baptized on her birthday. She had a good turn out of support from the Memmott's, the Johnson's and the Christensen's. She was baptized in Venice (the stake center for Richfield) by her dad. After the baptism we drove over to Salina for some good Mexican food, and then over to Sean and Amy's to see all the work they have been putting into the yard. Everything looked great and the kids had a fun time playing on the trampoline and the swings.
Jordan celebrated her birthday back over in Richfield at Grandpa Memmotts house with some gifts and brownies, and then most of us headed up to the mountains to spend a couple days at Fishlake.
The three four-year olds
We enjoyed six days at the cabin. It was a full house, but everyone played so well together. Kyle was there for a couple of days, but then he had to go back to Mesquite for work. The three Merayo girls stayed up and played with their cousins. We had fun down at Bowery for dinner as well as playing at the pier. The kiddos brought their bikes, but the the rock pond behind the cabin was the attraction. The kids played in the pond everyday. There were multiple changes of clothes especially for the two littlest ones.
On Tuesday we made our annual trip over to Capital Reef for a picnic. I can say annual because we did it last year when the Memmott's came up. Margi and Dylan joined us this year and we had a great time.
I am amazed how fast our time went by. Mom and Dad did great with all the noise. The girls had fun with Tina and the beauty parlor... five girls hair to do... everyday. The weather was perfect and the bugs weren't too bad. We missed having Brigo there because he's the BEST smore maker around. A big thank you to Mom and Dad for letting us come and be messy for a week.
