Continental A65 Engine Display for Air Combat Museum
This non-functional Continental A65 engine is fitted with a stationary propeller and mounted on a display stand. It was displayed in a museum for several years and acquired by the seller in 2024. This display engine is now offered at no reserve in Springfield, Illinois. All proceeds from the sale, including the buyer’s fee, will go to the Air Combat Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving aviation history.

Founded in 1929, Continental Aircraft Engine Company, a division of Continental Motors, produced engines for both civilian and military aircraft. The A65 was a 171ci horizontally opposed air-cooled four-cylinder rated at 65 horsepower.

The propeller is fixed in place. The display stand is around 53” tall.
