An updated picture of the house. It is really starting to take shape. I had forgotten how exciting it is to build a house. The kids love going there to play. We actually went last Saturday night and built a campfire complete with roasting marsh mellows and hot dogs!!ImageImage

Harmony Safari

Image

Image
I took the kids to the Harmony Safari in Huntsville today. You drive your car through the park and the animals come up to the car wanting to be fed. The Zebra stayed planted on my window most of the time. He walked alongside the car with his face stuck to the window. It was so funny. I finally got rid of him and Chaney Grace came out from under the seat. Garrett loved the entire ride and did not want to leave. Days like this make me proud to be a stay at home mom and thankful that God gave me these precious kids!!!

ImageUpdates on the house! Chaney Grace loves climbing around like a monkey! Garrett is not interested in the house, just the dirt. Everyday, he gets his tractor and says lets go to the land and move dirt.

We're building!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally got started on the house. It's moving slow but hey, it's moving! The kids really enjoy watching the house being built (and the surrounding dirt even more!). Anyway, here's a pic or two. We'll try to update the pictures as the house progresses.

Been a While.......

Everyone - sorry to not have posted anything recently! We're all doing well - Chaney Grace is about to be 4, Garrett is now scaring folks left and right jumping off the diving board and is about to be 3, Leslie is half way through her 2nd class of ISR kids and I'm nearly 8 months into my Production Manager position at Daikin. Below are more pics of the kids and our trip to North Carolina a while back. Enjoy!

SuperStar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leslie made the front page of the Living Today section of the Decatur Daily today. We've already got a # of calls and emails from people interested in ISR. It's great for business and for these kids.

Oh, and by the way, Garrett was the star of the article, sporting his floating skills for the camera.

Well...............She did it!

Last Friday was officially Leslie's last day at Rehab Access. She is putting the finishing touches on her ISR certification this week. Plan is for her to split time between home with the kids and teaching other children to swim. Her swimming business is going to be named Wee-Swim and we're working on the website now. Spread the word if you know of children needing water survival skills.....

Playing in the snow

Image
Image
We had a small amount of snow and I let the kids go out and play in it at 6:30 am. We were afraid that it would melt and Chaney Grace would have had a fit if she missed it! Garrett wasn't crazy about the snow he got cold and went back inside!

Let's Play Ball!

Leslie and I went to Chaney Grace's T-ball team intro meeting tonight. She'll be playing on the Priceville Chaos team and their colors are ORANGE and BLUE. I think I'll like it - oh and by the way, I'll be on the field as an assistant coach. Hopefully the results will be the same as when I last coached - a Championship season (Riley). Season starts in early April so get ready.

Introducing ISR instructor #2

Leslie is training to become the 2nd certified ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) instructor in Alabama. Although Chaney Grace and Garrett will be 1st in line for the training, Leslie is looking to share these survival skills with as many kids in North Alabama as possible (for a small fee of course). Stay tuned for more info!

Check out the Video - it is simply AMAZING what these kids can do with ISR!

These are our babies!!!!!!!!!!!!
