10 Months

Kruse is growing up like crazy and learning new things every single day!

He loves his walker and runs around the house with it. If he hits into something, he will yell for us to move him so he can keep running around.

He's learned a couple more animals sounds, and can now do snake (his favorite), cow, lamb and doggy. 

He really loves the piano and loves to sing! If you ask him to sing, he'll start to sing for you. When he hears the piano or organ start to play at church, he immediately starts to sing, and very loud! He will also add a little dance move in there too. 

He has two teeth, both on the bottom.

He can do a couple of signs. He's been doing "milk" for a couple of months and "more" as well. He will copy me doing some other signs but hasn't mastered them yet.

He's new favorite thing is to point! He points at everything and does it with both hands. He likes to point at lights, fans, animals, and people. 

He's naughty and likes to pull the books and everything else he can reach off the bookcases. He also likes to hide out under the dining table and crawl over and through the chairs. 

He is obsessed with dogs. My brother brought his puppy down when he stayed with us for a week and Kruse loved that puppy. He would grab her fur at first, but then was really soft with her. Most of the day he could be found at the back door looking out the window for the puppy in the backyard and making his doggy sound. Now he gets so excited every time he sees any dog and wants to touch it. 

He can climb the stairs! He watched his cousin climb the stairs then went up after him and climbed all the way to the top. We follow him up and he loves it. 

9 Months

He's got a tooth! It just broke through on the bottom and another one is on its way.

He is a mover. Now that he has mastered crawling, he's everywhere and always causing trouble :)

He loves peek-a-boo and will play by putting a blanket or something over his eyes and pulling it down when we say "boo!"

He says "night-night" to daddy when it's time for bed and he's started to say it whenever he's tired also.

He's still very naughty at night. He now stands up in his crib and cries and cries and throws his binky out. He will also sit in the corner facing the wall and pout. It's pretty funny (when it's not 2am). 

He loves to blow raspberries on my check and get it all slimy. 

He gives awesome, wet, slobbery kisses. If his daddy asks for a kiss, he will give him one then will always turn to me to give me one as well :) 

He will clap anytime you say "yay!" or if he sees or hears anybody clapping. 

He is obsessed with little kids and is always staring and yelling at any kids that are around. In church he leans over the pews and gets all the kids riled up both in front of us and behind us and squeals so loudly at them. 

He will no longer eat his vegetables. He gags on them and shutters trying to get them down, it's hilarious! After a bite or two he closes his lips and won't open them for anything. 

He is impossible to get into his carseat, highchair or stroller because he rolls on his belly and puts up a big fight by flailing around and arching his back and screaming. But once he's buckled in he does ok. Punk.

We got a new park right in front of our house and he likes to swing and ride on the little springy horse things. 

He's a crazy kid!!

8 Months

Kruse is 8 Months!

He can say "puff puff" when we give him those little baby puff treats and it's super cute.

He will now FINALLY say momma on a regular basis.

He likes to read his books, especially the touch and feel ones. He goes right for the spots on every page.

He can pull himself now and loves to climb up on the couch and play with the blinds. 

He still doesn't have any teeth! Or hair for that matter.

He can growl like a tiger, do a monkey noise and an elephant noise! 

Kruse loves balls and loves to sit on the floor forever passing it back and forth. He puts in right hand in a fist and punches the ball every time. 

He can wave bye-bye! He turns his wrist so his hand is facing himself and waves.

Whenever any music comes on, he immediately starts to dance. Even if it's only on the tv or something for a second. 

He's not crawling yet, but uses every other mean to get around. He rolls, scoots, and can go on his knees from sitting. 

We love our little guy!

7 Months

This little man is growing up! He's 7 months old!

He is a champion sitter-upper and will roll and twist and scoot to get things out of his reach. Soon he'll be crawling.....that means trouble for me!

He is OBSESSED with cups. If somebody has a cup, his little arms will shoot straight out and he will twirl his wrists and make noises and try will all his might to get that cup. He also loves any cords/string, plastic bags and phones. Pretty much everything a baby shouldn't have. 

He says "Oh!" and "ooooooo" a lot, especially when he's trying to get something. 

He loves his food and eats an entire container 2-3 times a day. If you don't shovel the food in his mouth fast enough, he gets all upset. He's the fastest eater I've ever seen! Such a little piggy. 

He still hate rice cereal and oatmeal, won't even touch the stuff. He purses his lips closed and will not open them for anything. I have to mix the dry oatmeal flakes into his dinner and he'll take it, but will not have the rice at all. 

He's still an awful sleeper at night, but takes two good 1-2 hour naps in the day. 

This little boy loves to be tickled! When I say "Arms up!" and put his arms above his head, he instantly starts to squeal because he knows he's about to get tickled. 

Some kids have a favorite blankie or toy or something to help them fall asleep..... Kruse's toy is my hair. He plays with it (well more like pulls it out of my head) when he's falling asleep and if he wakes up when I lay him down, I have to let him play with it while he's in his crib to help him go back to sleep. It's craziness. He is also obsessed with eating it and always will sneak a piece in his mouth and suck on it. It's so gross!

He will try to imitate noises we make and is getting pretty good at it. He growls and is always making noise. 

6 Months

We are half way to a year old! 

Kruse can say "dada" and says it all the time, he knows we love it. We're still working on mama….

He can sit up pretty well but will suddenly get really wiggly and tips over. 

He will also reach for something in front of him while he's sitting and plop right on his belly and then can get his toy. It surprises him every time. 

His absolute favorite toy is my phone. He always wants it. Luckily, the cover will suffice most of the time. 

He loves being thrown in the air by his daddy and laughs and laughs. 

He's starting to not want to go to strangers and pretty much anybody that's not his momma. When I walk into the room and somebody else is holding him, he squeals and reaches out for me. 

He's turned from the most wonderful sleeper into the most awful. I'm hoping it's just a {short} phase!  

No teeth have popped through yet but he's still a very drooly baby. 

As you can tell, he's as bald as a cue ball. Didn't get that from his momma :)
He weighs 15 lbs and is 26 inches long.

Love him.

5 Months

Kruse had a lot of first's at 5 months. 

His first airplane ride. We took a family trip with the Warnick's to Maui. He was a good baby!

His first time at the beach. He sure liked to eat the sand but didn't like the cold ocean water.

His first time in the pool. He did like that water and was so cute! He could chase around his rubber ducky forever. 

First time eating solids. He hates rice cereal and isn't too fond of anything yet.

His new nickname is "The Tuse". Random, I know but that's what he's called the majority of the time along with Mr. Kruse, Krusey man and Tuse-n-poops. 

He loves to play peek-a-boo and jumps every single time you say boo! 

He pees everywhere all the time when his dad is changing his diaper but almost never does when his mom changes him. 

He's our favorite baby around :)

He weighs 14 lbs and 3 oz and is 26 inches long.

4 Months

The stink bug is 4 months.

He sleeps in his room and as been for about a month. I like it better when he's in our room, 

but he's too big for the cradle!

His new favorite toys are stuffed animals. He loves to play with them and chew on them.

He is a talker already, he's always blabbering and 

gets really loud sometimes.

He rolls over a lot! He can roll over both ways, and we will find him in his crib in the morning on his tummy. He can even roll over when he's all swaddled up.

He's always drooling, maybe we'll see a tooth soon?!?

He's still long and skinny and 

still loves that binki of his.

He will growl at us once in a while, it's pretty funny.

In addition to rolling over, he uses his head to scoot and can move pretty quickly like that 

when he's on his back. He can turn himself 180 degrees in a matter of minutes. 

He weighs 13 pounds 7 ounces and is 25 inches long.
