Thad got us amazing seats!
We had our annual ward camp out at Camp Wilderness and the kids were gone the moment we got there. So the only picture we have is from the ice cream pit stop in Kernville. But they had a great time as always.
Thad and the kids have been taking the dune buggy out a lot lately. It makes catching Pokemon more fun I guess. I feel like it's cheating.
And sometimes on their outings Thad lets them climb under canal bridges, which is super exciting.
We discovered toddler time at Rush and peter thought it was the best day ever. The boys spent most of their time in the foam pit instead of jumping, but they loved it.
Peter is getting demanding at the grocery store, but the things he wants are strange. This trip he was begging for edemame and Parmesan cheese. And yes, he loves both of those things.
Sammy spent a week trying to earn this pulley system. It's funny the things that motivate him to be good. Toys, money, treats, threatening, none of those things has any effect on him, but the prospect of this pulley worked miracles that week.
He also loves to use the grinder. Anytime Thad is working on things in the yard Sam asks if he can grind something.
Andi has become very helpful in the kitchen. I haven't had to make a batch of cookies in months!
We also knocked out a little backyard project one saturday. I've been wanting to build these shutters for the back of the house for a while now, just to break up the beige blob that is the back of the house.
And this miracle happened during the Sunday afternoon session of conference. Peter hasn't napped in years and I could not believe what was happening. The conference coma is real people! Something about the peaceful spirit and those soothing voices knocks you right out.
And I had the opportunity to go to the business conference last weekend. Obviously not something I would normally do, but a free ticket and being able to hear Ann Romney speak made for a great saturday! She is an incredible person and it was just fun to hear from her.
