3) Her favorite color is Pink and Purple
4) She loves hip hopping music
5) She is independent

This picture came about when I asked Kate

Memphis Tennesse Temple!

Oh, the Temple, how I have missed it. It has been
awhile since I've gone with the move and all. Our family
went with the youth, last Saturday, in our ward to do baptisms.
This was Jenna's first time. She really felt a special
feeling being there. Both Rick and I were able to
be in there with her. I can't help but think the
song by Pam Tillis that says,"Maybe it was
Memphis....Maybe it was you, maybe it was me,
but it sure felt right." It was a great experience
and felt we were in the right place at the right time!
We were also able to help with a sealing. The Halls in our
ward were sealing their grandparents. Thanks for letting
us be a part of that special experience!
Fall!!
I can't believe I live in a place where the seasons change.
It brings me back to my childhood in Utah! The brilliant
colors of the trees are so beautiful. I love the crisp fall air.
It makes me want to bake cookies and make soup! Now,
I might write a different tale when the leaves are gone
and winter looks us in the eye. I will keep you posted!
Here are some pictures of Fall in Arkansas!

What Happened!
Our cars were broken into last night. We decided we need
to have more stories to tell. So last week was our neighbor's house
was burned and this week our cars were broken into.
One thing at a time right! They ended up stealing my wallet
which I left in there(yeah, I know that was smart). On my
behalf I hardly ever do that and I locked the car. Although
if I left it unlocked they wouldn't have smashed our windows
with a rock to get in. At first we thought they took the GPS,
but they didn't. It was under the seat. Rick's car was unlocked
and they just ransacked it. They took Rick's quarters he had
in there, but that was it. The police found most of my stuff
strewn across someones yard. My license and the actual
wallet is still missing. I really count my blessings. They could
have came in the house and didn't. They also broke
into my neighbors car 4 houses down. They were o.k. too!
Here is some CSI going on! They think they got some good
fingerprints off of the cars. We will see. The cops were
super nice.

House on Fire!
We had a sad experience today. There was also many blessings mixed with the sadness!
We are good friends with are neighbors that live across the street. Well, their house caught on fire! I couldn't believe it. I saw smoke coming from the side of the house. Then I saw the flames. My other neighbors were in our yard. I asked if they called 911. They said they did. I then asked if any one talked to Kelley. She was out of town and was suppose to be back on Tuesday. Sometimes she goes to sleep after the kids are off to school. The neighbors said they didn't have her number. I said I did. I ran to get my phone. She was still out of town thankfully! I then broke the sad news to her. I really hate doing that! I told her how sorry I was. I then proceeded to help fire fighters with information. I told them the parents are out of town. The kids are at school. Their cousin was watching the kids while they were away. I said everyone left about 40 minutes ago. So nobody was in the house. I said however they have a dog, a cat, and 3 snakes. The fire fighter kicked the door in and the dog came out. The cat didn't make it. The snakes made it. We had 6 fire trucks in the front of my house. We also had three police cars. Oh my! I couldn't get out of my drive way to take my kids to school. My other neighbor offered to take them since there was a little opening for her car. I took her up on it. The kids of my neighbor whose house was on fire then showed up. A friend had taken them out of school. They are 17, 15, 10, 7. I hugged them all and told them how sorry I was. We really love there family. Then when it was safe to go in I walked through and talked to my neighbor about the damage. There kitchen is gone. There laundry room and bathroom are gone. The damage is unreal. Fortunately the bedrooms are pretty much in tack. They will just have to get the black off and smoke smell out. Which i heard is very hard. My Neighbors are trying so hard to get home from Texas. We are praying for them!
Happy Birthday Jenna!
Jenna turned 12 yesterday on the 19th. I can't believe how old
she is getting. Happy Birthday Jenna! I feel like I not only have
a wonderful daughter, but feel like I have a great friend!
We celebrated by going swimming. We had a great time!
Jenna has made a friend at school and we will take both of
them to do something on friday. 5 Things interesting about Jenna are:
Favorite color: Brown and Green
Favorite books: Harry Potter (notice the cake)

We've Moved!
For those who don't know, we've moved across the country
to Little Rock Arkansas. What were we thinking! We have
been here for over 2 months now. We have already had many
adventures! We were so sad to leave our place in Las Vegas
that has been our home for almost 8 years. We left wonderful
friends whom we all consider family! We are Grateful for all the joy
and all the lessons we learned in LasVegas. We wouldn't trade it
for anything! So we say "till we meet again Las Vegas" and "Hello
Arkansas"! Here are some pictures of our home, neighborhood, and
some of our adventures so far!

Backyard
Part of our backyard walks out onto the golf course. Could
Rick be more happy!
Kate loves to sit and watch the golfers.
Our Neighborhood
Golf course
This Pond is on the golf course. It is not very
far from our backyard. They have many turtles that swim
there. Also we have been told that the Canadian Geese will
be making their stop here very soon on their way to Mexico.
My girls can't wait!
Arkansas Adventures!
This was the Lego exhibit at the Clinton Library. My girls
really love Legos, so we took them. Here are a few pictures
of the cool creations!
This is a self portrait of the artist. All of it is made
out of Legos.
This is a recreation of the Arkansas Razorback!
Rick is already following the team!(It is the ASU football
team)
Pinnacle Peak
This is the largest peak in the Little Rock area and yes, we hiked it! It wasn't that easy, but the
view was breathtaking!
Renovating
We are renting our home. We have a unique situation where
we get lower rent while our landlords finish renovating the home.
It actually has been great! Our Landlords are fun and inviting
people. We have become friends. My kids look forward to
Mr. Scott coming and are always wondering what he is going to
do next. Kate actually calls him Max. We have tried to convince
her his name is Scott, but she won't hear of it. Scott actually
loves it. Now everyone is calling him Max part of the time. Oh
my wonderful Kate! They have almost finished the house except two
bathrooms. Unfortunatly that will be put on hold for 9 months
while Scott is deployed to Iraq on a secret mission to fly planes.
He is pilot! Here is a before and after picture of the family Room.
Before
Scott let my kids draw all over the carpet and walls before
he tore it down. Imagine the Joy!

After

Duck Walk at Peabody Hotel
Growing Things!
If you throw it, it will grow!
Kate threw a bunch of pinto beans off the porch and sure
enough they started to sprout!
Mushrooms in our yard! I personally don't like them
growing, but my kids think it's cool!
Fire Ants!
Kate got bit by about 100 fire ants from sitting on the ant
pile! It was traumatic. We almost took her into the
hospital. She ran a fever and her ear swelled twice it's
size. Fortunatley for medicine, pharmacists, and the priesthood,
She was ok. These pictures were taken about four days after.
First Day of School!
