I have finally gotten into the relaxation thing now. The first week off was a little stressful just because I didn't know what to do with myself. No schedule, No expectations, it was just so wonderful, I didn't know if I should laugh or worry, or what!
I sure have enjoyed being home with my little Mac. He is so much fun. He is growing up WAY too fast by the way, but he is learnig so much and there is never a dull moment with him.
His favorite things to say right now are: There it is! Whoa! Binky, Blanket, Bookey, (ok, they all sound about the same...) Grandma, Grandpa, Chuck (in that order!) Oh and not to mention all of the animals and their sounds!
I guess what is on my mind most is that I feel I am truly blessed in my life. I have a great job, a wonderful, loving, supportive husband, a beautiful, spunky, into everything 18 month old, a fantastic house, and a loving family. I sometimes wonder how I am so lucky!
Here's a song from the LDS Children's songbook that sums it up precisely! :)
“I’m Thankful to Be Me,” Children’s Songbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11
At night, when I’m alone in bed,
I close my eyes and see
The many things I’m thankful for
That God has given me.
I see my friends and teachers, too,
And others who love me.
These many blessings make me feel
So thankful to be me.
I close my eyes and see
The many things I’m thankful for
That God has given me.
I see my friends and teachers, too,
And others who love me.
These many blessings make me feel
So thankful to be me.
