We are constantly amazed by Christian's academic abilities. He is already better able to help Jordan with math than I am, which as a former teacher that is hard for me to admit.
Math was just such a long time ago! After four children, my brain is mushy! I had a friend tell me once, "Every time you give birth you lose 1/3 of your brain." Then she looked me straight in the eye and said, "You're in the hole!" :) I had to laugh and agree.
Back to my amazing son. He recently competed in a district math competition with Middle School age kids (6th through 8th graders). Overall, in the individual category, My 6th grader placed 9th, effectively beating out many 8th grade math club members. He just has a mind for numbers. He must have gotten it from his dad!
