Cuteness

Well, hello blog - it's been too long.

This little guy melts my heart.  He's honestly the cutest baby ever.  He immediately captures any and everyone's attention ANYTIME we are in public.  And he melts their hearts too.

People just look at him and he immediately smiles - thus the reason he is so cute.  Nobody can resist that dimple.  And then because someone is paying attention to him, he leans toward them like, "yes! please hold me!" To which they can't resist holding him and gushing over how adorable he is.

I'm telling you - this cuteness cannot be resisted!

A Minion Halloween

Most have probably seen these pictures, but my mom hasn't, so here's what we did for Halloween: Despicable Me 2!
Image
Dallin's "G" fell off before we got the picture, and I didn't notice it until afterwards :(  Picture above was from the ward party.  On Halloween we made sure to stick it on extra good!

And some trick-or-treating in action!

Creepy Dallin

So Dallin got sick about 2 months ago and has not been sleeping well ever since (unless drugged up on Melatonin).  Two nights ago it took him an hour and a half to go to sleep.  And then he woke up just after 1AM and decided to be super creepy.  He went downstairs and hopped up on the chair so he could look outside.  Both Bryan and I were in a pretty deep sleep.  But Bryan woke up when Dallin starting talking.  He went in his room, figuring that's where he was.  Nope.  He checked the bathroom.  Nope.  And then finally saw Dallin's silhouette on the chair.  "Hey buddy, what are you doing?" he sleepily said.  Dallin pointed out the window and said, "Kitty?....kitty?"

Now in fairness our neighbor does have 3 cats, including a black one, that can often be found roaming outside.  Bryan was pretty out of it, having been in the middle of deep sleep, but said he didn't see any cat outside.

That's creepy.

Bryan put him back in bed and he went to sleep.  And then decided 7AM was an acceptable wake up time (which it's not, especially since that means he only slept 9 hours, not 11 like he should).  He immediately went downstairs and was standing by the shoes when I found him.  I took him back to his bed and when he laid down he said, "Kitty?"

Creepy again.

This time he didn't go back to sleep.  So last night I gave him Melatonin again so we could all get some sleep and avoid more creepy cat stories.

Fork Stab

We have a new rule in our house: no running with forks

Image

This is day 4 post-stab.

Someone was super excited about his lunch that I was about to put on the table, so he came running around the corner, fork in hand, and stabbed my knee.  Not on purpose.  He's kind of a spastic runner (he's run into the wall on more than one occassion).  I guess I should be happy? that is was my knee - doesn't that hurt less than getting stabbed in a fleshy part like a thigh?  It definitely hurt though.  And did not look great on the day of or day after (kind of swollen and probably a little infected).  But it's lookin' much better now.  At least the fork was clean when I got stabbed.
