New Years Eve

We had a fun night celebrating the last year of 2012.  We played several games of Wii bowling, which the girls are getting great at.   Diana had bought of pack of hats, blowers and poppers so we toasted with sparkly cider and make a lot of noise.  The girls were in bed around 9:30 and the adults were to far behind.  We had a great year and look forward to what 2013 will bring.

Last Sunday of 2012

We are going to continue taking a family photo every Sunday for 2013, I sure loved that we did this.

Ice Skating

Tabitha has been wanting to go ice skating for over a year now and we finally went today,  Midway has a fun little outdoor rink  We had a great time, but didn't last to long, it was really cold.  Gabrielle went around once with Brandon and then went around again on her own next to the wall.  Tabitha loved it and went around several times with Brandon and I.

Snow

We got quite a bit of snow this week and with the cold temps it has stayed.  The girls and I have had fun playing in it while shoveling the driveway.  Today while everyone was running errands in Provo Papa Fife played with us and helped clear the driveway.

Temple Square

We were waiting in line to see the Christus and David and Tabitha rode up and down the escalator 3 times.  

I work today during the day and then met up with everyone tonight.  We ate dinner at The Spagetti Factory and then walked around temple square.  It was a lot colder then when we were there last weekend with my family, but still so pretty.

  Santa brought exactly what the girls asked for, a blue dolphin pillow pet for Gabrielle and a Kangaroo and baby pillow pet for Tabitha

Brandon and I got Tabitha a Volkswagon bug barbie car, she wants us to buy one when we get our next car!  Brandon picked out a Lego set for Gabrielle, he loved them when he was little and was excited to put it together with her.

We had a great Christmas morning, the girls were so excited and had fun with all of their presents and helping all of us with ours.  Brandon's family arrived a few minutes after we woke up and saw what Santa brought and we had fun opening presents with all of them.   My parents drove up in the afternoon, the weather was perfect.

Christmas Eve

We had a fun snowy Christmas Eve.  My family didn't make it up with all the snow, but we had all of Brandon's family with us.  Brandon read the story of Jesus's birth from the Bible and we sang a few songs and had a yummy dinner.  The girls got to open one present, new jammies and book to read.  They get to sleep in our room on Christmas Eve, which they love, and they went down pretty good even with all their excitement!

Sunday

We had another sick Sunday  Gabrielle had an ear infection!  So, this photo was taken on Christmas Eve.  Brandon's Mom, Dad and sister Vanessa arrived last night after spending two days driving from Seattle.  They had perfect roads and weather.  His brother Justin and wife and baby fly in tonight and Emily drove up today.  We are excited to all be together for Christmas.

Breakfast with Santa

Brandon taught the boys a new game where they can all play each other on their phones. 

Kristen's work does the best Christmas party every year for their employees and families, Breakfast with Santa.  We woke up and got ready and headed downstairs.  They have a yummy breakfast and then Santa came out.  Tabitha asked for a Kangaroo pillow pet and Gabrielle asked for a Dolphin pillow pet.  It was fun to have Layni join in on the fun this year, she did great!   This is our 5th year with this fun tradition, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
