Aurora Reservior

This is another bit of our summer... Once we realized that you only take these raft boats out on NON windy days, it was pretty fun. We went out on the water 3 times this year. And after the 1st time out, we went and got another boat so we could all go out at the same time. Our last adventure was all the way across the water. There must have been a breeze we couldn't feel because the way back was WAY harder than getting to the other side. But.... we made it and were sucessful, that was all worth it!

Cement and Sidewalks

In August, Andrew and I tackled the task of putting in a sidewalk and 1/2 of the driveway. It was a lot of work, especially with just the 2 of us, though Leanne was a huge help. We were planning on doing another pour, the rest of the garage and and a tennis court, but after this one we figure 1 pour a year is enough work for a lifetime. It was very exciting to finally get a sidewalk. I can't believe how "homey" it feels. Of course we had to get the hand prints in there for posterity sake.

Alright, alright... this is kind of fun. I really enjoy reading all of my friends and family blogs. I hope this will give you an idea of what we have been up to. I will try to get more up. We have dial up so it is sooooo slow to load stuff. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

The Beach

Going to California and visiting with family was a highlight of our summer.Of course, we had to go to the beach.... and as always, the kids had a blast.

On our way to California this summer we stopped in Utah and had a fun time in Logan with Andrews family. The kids had fun on the raft and Andrew was able to get up on the wake board.
