Riley' Concert

Riley had a Christmas Concert last month. Dallin wanted to be in it. So did Caleb but we don't have any pics of him as he was sitting in my lap. For some reason I cannot download the video of Riley singing. She even had a speaking part and did great. Her Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher, Miss Colleen came to see how she did. She told me Riley's teacher commented that Riley really wasn't dancing to the songs like the other kids (she wasn't). Miss Colleen's response and I totally agree with her, "But she is singing!!!" And she was. We have the video to prove it.Image

When the Train Came to Town

One of the last running steam engines came through Gilbert last month as start to the Arizona 100th birthday next year. We went to check it out. It was big! It was loud! Really loud. We all had a good time.Image

Ward Camp Out

We went on the ward camp out last month. The kids had a blast. It was nice to escape the heat to the beautiful mountains. When we got up past Payson and were heading to the camp site Caleb saw all the trees and asked, "Is this the jungle?" Oh my desert baby, we need to leave the Valley of the Sun a little more often.Image
