Halloween 2010

I think the pictures speak for themselves, they had a great time! Went to theyouth association's fall festival, a halloween party and trick or treating!! Way too much candy came home....OH! And Kyler won 2 costume contests. What a handsome boy! Mandy couldn't understand how he came out with trophies and she didn't but she was still the queen of the evening!!

1st grade Pumpkin Parade

Kyler's Pumpkin Parade was a great opportunity for me to surprise him...I had a half day for parent conferences so I got to pop up at his school and surprise him with my presence as he marched his pumpkin around the school! I loved it and so did he. Mandy enjoyed getting to "show me around Bubba's gym" and got to run with one of her good friends from her class, Elizabeth. Those two are a TRIP!! Kyler did his pumpkin all on his own and he was proud of it, you go Bubba. He can tell you what every mark is. What a kid, I couldn't be more proud of him every day!

Uncle Todd Special

Uncle Todd came in for a short surprise visit Sunday. We had a good visit and it was nice to spend some time with him to ourselves. He asked if he could take the kids to Fossil Rim and so they got a very special Uncle Todd Day. They had such a good time we heard every detail! This was their first outing by themselves with him and his first with them on his own....from what I heard it was a huge success. Thanks Uncle Todd! He even let Kyler use the camera and I have some fascinating shots from him. Good job bubba.

Grown ups night at the land

This year we went to the land for our grownups night out for Aunt Kelly's birthday again. We (ofcourse) had a blast. What a nice little tradition. This year was a little muddier than years past. So we had some adventures in mud but thanks to friends we made it and enjoyed "muddin'". We actually had to pull over and get mud out of the wheels! Felt a little like teenagers again ;)

A night at the fields

While Kyler played ball last night, Mandy got to run and play with 2 of her friends from school, Rori and Wyatt. WOW, they are quite the trio! They played so well and got completely filthy!!! Perks of living in a small town.

First REAL Haircut!!!

Yes, I managed to avoid tears but Mandy woke up and wanted a hair cut...not just any cut...to her shoulders!!! HOLY CRAP, she has always loved her long hair (me too, mee tooo!!!) and so I was floored. Now, anyone who knows my girl knows that when she sets her mind to something she means it and she had DECIDED. I got her to comprimise, I would allow her to cut her hair but it must be long enough for a ponytail....deal! So....here is the pic

Circus

Thanks to Mrs. Jamie, we got to go to the Shriner Circus Saturday night. The kids had a blast and I really enjoyed getting to have FUN with them. It was hilarious to listen to their reactions and conversations. To top it all of Mackenzie was lovin' me so I got some little princess time while her mama got a few breaks! I was thrilled.

Fall Ball 2010

Just my little ball player in action! He narrates the Rangers' games for me and has such a love of the game. I just love watching him have fun with it! He is the youngest on his team and holds in own...especially at bat. He plays centerfield this season, "Just like Josh Hamilton!".

Homecoming 2010

WOW! I was SOOO not ready for this, but it turned out to be cute and fun. Alvarado Homecoming...first things first, we won! Ok, now, Kyler and his friends got together to go to their first homecoming game. Kyler and Trinty exchanged mum/garder and Mandy and Jake exchanged. Unfortunately, Jake got sick and Mandy asked TJ if he would go with her and he very kindly said "OK". It was all in fun and very cute. Dinner and a high school football game on a Friday night....MAN it has been a long time! LOL

Kyler's First Coach Pitch Game

I am a PROUD mama!! Kyler had so much fun and played really well, he hit 4 for 4 and scored a home run first hit out. He got a little razzing by his coach for picking grass in the outfield but he did it in good spirits and Kyler took it well. He played 2nd base the first half and outfield the second half, what a kid. I am consistently amazed at his accomplishments and growth. Thank you lord!
