Ok so yes it has been FOREVER since I have poseted anything. We have had a ton going on and I guess I should post some stuff. We are in the house and been working on they yard. It has been A PROCESS that is for sure. We started after all of the rain and we have been working on things pretty much non stop for the whole summer and beyond. We finally have sod and the fence is almost done. Caleb has been doing a lot of it by himself but we have had a lot of help. So thank you to everyone that helped us out. We really do appreciate it.
I have been working a lot lately. Has been nice in some ways but it does make me miss my babies. They arent really babies anymore. I took a spontaneous trip to Vegas with the kids last weekend, and we had a blast. The kids were worn out every night and it was so good to go out and do fun things with them. I tell you what though, they are not fans of the heat. And I bet they would have been happy with just playing at the pool all day long. But we went to the Shark aquarium at Mandalay Bay and they had so much fun looking at all the fish. I would say to Derek, "where is the shark Derek?" and he would point them out. Tristin had such and good time. A fish would swim by her and she would yell out, "there he is". Everyone that was there got a huge kick out of her. And then some of the sharks would swim close and she would get scared, it was really cute.
Caleb and the kids are doing really well, Caleb is working a lot, but I think he likes it. Tristin is getting so big and developing a little more of an attitude that I would like, but then again she is going to be 3 in a couple months. I guess it comes with the territory. Derek is cruising around. He is now running away from me. He and Trisin are playing now about as much as they fight. I think it is really cute though. So there is an update and all the fun things over the past couple of months. We are looking forward to Halloween and all of the holidays coming up. More fun craft things for me to do.

June....Almost

So it is almost June and I thought I would get my blog update for the last couple of weeks. Everything is good. Nothing much has changed, Derek is getting so big, I can't believe he is going to be one in less than a month. He is getting so close to walking, but he is so lazy it is hilarious. He doesn't want to do it on his own, anytime we even go to let go of his hands he just lets his legs buckle out from under him and falls to the floor. He and Tristin are getting along a lot better. She keeps asking for him anytime he is away from her for longer that about 2 hours. She is constently trying to wake him up from his naps because she wants him around, and then we she does finally get him up she doesn't want him to play with her toys. She is such a girl. And he is such a boy, he loves toying with her and taunting her. He loves to play tug a war with her with toys. He thinks it is the funniest thing in the world when she is tugging on a toy he has. Ah the joys of having a boy. He loves the stairs. We are constantly trying to keep him off of them. They are both getting so big and I don't even know what to do with them. I am working a ton lately, and Caleb might be getting a promotion soon. Cross your fingers he finally gets on a semi decent shift. No more going to work in the middle of the night. UGH. Well that is kind of it for us right now, hopefully it will stop raining soon and we can get some yard work done and I will have something to blog about then. If not I just might have to resort to blogging about all my upcoming projects I am doing. That would be an interesting Blog :) Thanks again to all that read. Love you all

So I have been told repeatedly that I need to get an update on here. Well a lot has happened since my last post. We finally got moved into the house. We have been in about a month now. We have really enjoyed it, the kids finally have room to run and play. We are working on getting the yard finished if it would stop raining. Yuck.
Tristin is really good, she is getting so big I don't even know what to do with her anymore. She is talking a lot more and is starting to develop her own little personality and attitude. She is finally starting to play with Derek a little more.. She still doesn't like him to play with her toys but she doesn't mind having him around now.
Derek is doing good also, he is around 20lbs now and getting really tall. He started pulling himself up on things a few months ago and is so close to walking that I can't even believe it. He too is getting some attitude and personality. He sure will let you know when he doesn't like something. Plus he has started this new thing of squealing in a really high pitched voice saying dada. It is really cute actually. He loves the stairs, and the new house has lots of them. We have invested in some gates, but they are kind of a pain.
Caleb is doing really well at work. Hopeing to get a promotion here soon, but everything comes with a price. We don't have any idea what shift he will be put on when that happens, so wish us luck.
So our little family is growing up, and yes I know I need a new updated family picture and it is soon to come. I will post some new fun pictures of the kids when I get them. Thanks to everyone that reads the blog and sorry I am horrible at keeping it updated.

SO here is our updated news........

We Finally found a house. Thank goodness it has been a long time coming it seems like. 4 different offers on places and we finally found one that we just absolutely love. We will be moving in hopefully by the middle of April. It used to be a model home so it has not been lived in but it was built in 2008. We will end up being in the same ward as before and it is only a couple of blocks from the house that we just recently sold. We are so excited about it. We are also planning a little mini Vacation. Just for Caleb and I to good old Vegas. We have not been anywhere since I was pregnant with Tristin and I am really ready for a small break.
Caleb is doing well, no real change there. I am doing well too, starting nursing school hopefully within the next couple of months. Work is going great, been kind of slow this month but hopefully things are going to be picking up really soon. I helped teach a prenatal class tonight, that was a lot of fun, I love seeing new moms and how excited they are about their babies.
The kids are doing awesome, growing like weeds. Derek is about 18 1/2lbs now and huge. He is already filling out his 12 months clothes at eight months. He just started to crawl this week and cruises everywhere now. He loves the kitchen, not sure why but he likes to go in there everytime I put him down. Tristin is doing good, she is as rambunctious as ever, we started doing gymnastics with her 2X a week to help get out some wiggles and give her something constructive to do with all that energy. The first couple times was really hard but after a couple of weeks she is really getting the hang of things. Well we are excited about all the changes about to happen in our lives and excited to share them with everyone.

The New Year

Well, it is a new year and boy did the last one go by really fast. A lot has happened since I blogged last, I know I don't keep up very well. Our Holidays were good, we had Tristin's birthday and Christmas and New year's.
Some new things are, we are under contract for selling our house. It was so nice, we didn't have it on the market for very long, and the first person to come look at it gave us an offer. So we are under contract right now, pretty sure that we are going to close to closing. The only down side to that is that we don't have a place to go. LOL, we were thinking we would get another house and then have to worry about selling ours. But we are in the opposite position at the moment, hurrying to find something to move into. We have an offer on a home but we are still waiting to hear back from the bank on it. So we will see what happens :) Everything else is good, Caleb is doing good, I am doing good. The kids are growing like weeds. We have started the adventure called Potty Training with Tristin. The first couple of weeks was hard, but once she understood the concept she has done really well. Derek is getting so big. He is so funny, he is a little snuggle bug. He is perfectly content with just sitting in your lap and hanging out. He is starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock though, so who knows I might be chasing him around the house sooner than I think. Tristin is getting really big too, she is starting to talk more and more, saying actual words that is. She has always talked but it was her own little language that no one ever understood. Her sentences consist of a combination of both, a bunch of gibberish and a few recognizable words here and there.
Work is going well for both Caleb and I. I have started in the Nursery taking call 3-4 nights a week and doing some nights on the patient floor. It has been interesting getting used to doing graveyard shifts, but I have loved not having to get a baby sitter for my kids anymore, that is one thing I can take off my plate. Plus then they are always home with one of us. Caleb and I feel very blessed to both have good jobs that are secure. We are both looking forward to getting into this new house, I think Caleb is looking for a project to work on. And this house will defiantly be a project, so if anyone is bored over the next couple of months, you are welcome to come up. We have plenty of things we will have to do. (If the bank will get back to us anytime soon)

Halloween

Halloween....... 2009

Tristin was a princess and Derek was a Smartie for Halloween. She had so much fun dressing up. We went to our trunk or treat and Tristin had so much fun being able to take the candy out of the bowls ppl had them in. Of course Derek didn't do much :)

Update October

So it has been a really long time since I blogged I know. I have been crazy busy with the new job and the babies. But so far everything is going really well, everyone is growing so fast that I cant seem to keep up with them. I am working a lot it seems lately, I have two jobs plus some other side jobs I do every once in awhile. Caleb is on a new shift at work and it has not been the best for us, but we are working through it. I am enjoying my job for the most part, as much as I can enjoy buffing and waxing floors 4X a week. I love being able to be home with my babies during the day though, it is the biggest blessing in the world being a mother. Tristin has started sleeping without one of her side rails. We are getting her ready for a toddler bed. She is as vocal as ever, not saying a whole lot that makes any sense but she is talking a lot. Some ppl say she sounds like the little girl off of Monsters' Inc. She kind of does to me :) Derek is getting so big, he is smiling and he loves to blow bubbles. He sure does like a lot of attention. It makes it a little diffictult to get anything done, but I dont mind a whole lot.
