End of May

Camrie had her end of year preschool graduation on the 24th of May. It has been so fun to see her grow over this year. She has learned so much.

Cam worked the super bikes event again this year. He has done a lot of TV stuff through out this year. They asked us both to work like we have done in the past, Cam run camera and me run errands for the crew, but with me being 9 months pregnant I decided to turn them down.
Image
We all went and got our hair cut and brook was more into getting her sucker then anything. That is all she asked about until we let her have it. We had to give it to her so she would sit there and get her hair trimmed.

As I said before that Camrie is getting so big. She has started to want to make her own food. On this day I was taking care of something and she decided that she would get our lunch ready for us. I came in the kitchen and found that she had made three whole sandwiches that were just baloney no mayo just dry baloney sandwiches.  She was such a big helper. Now if she doesn't like what I have made she will ask if she can make herself a PB&J sandwich because it has protein in it. (Can you tell what her mom is always saying to her? She would eat just fruit and veggies if I didn't make her eat "something with protein in it"). Most the time I just let her but if she is not going to eat what I make she has to make something else herself.

This is the place

With having a season pass we have gone to this is the place a lot. The girls love to ride the ponies there and see all the animals. We went with our friends the Fowers back in April and I didn't have my camera so we used my phone to take pictures. I never get the pictures off my phone so we never got them on the blog. It was the beginning of the baby animal season and so there were a lot of animals to see. We saw: chicks, ducks, bunnies, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, ponies, cows and oxen. It was a pretty cold day that day but it may have made it so not very many people were there.

May

We wanted to get good use of our season pass before it ended so we went to This is the Place twice the first week in May. The first time Norah and Jon came with us while Alison stayed home with the new baby. The girls writing on the calk boards at the school house.

Then at the end of the week Myla, Nicole and Leisa came with us. They had a big saddle on one of the ponies so Brook and Myla rode on it together. Myla helped to keep Brook on the pony.

Then the next time Camrie wanted to ride with Brook.

Myla was so good at riding the pony without any help.

The girls have been into making forts lately. They like to get all the blankets in their room and drape them over the bed and then play under the bed. Brook is looking out the "door" and Camrie the "window" is what I was told.
Image
Once in a while I can get Brook to take a nap. This time she first got into Camrie's dance cloths then fell to sleep halfway under her bed. At least she took a nap.
Image
I love going in and checking on the kids before I go to sleep to see what I find. Sometimes the way they fall to sleep is so funny. More then once do I find them asleep in the same bed and I think to myself "why did we even buy two beds? They could just share one bed."
Image
Every year with my "job" we have a day that we can go to the zoo free and we have done it the last few years. We go in the rear entrance and the lion drinking fountain is right inside the gates. They were not to sure about sticking their heads in there to get a drink.

We go in the morning and the animals are so active. The tigers are pacing around and the elephants where moving around. A lot of the animals were being feed so they were active.

This peacock pretty much just walked right up to us. Brook didn't like it so much. She kept telling me she didn't want it to eat her. She has a thing where she thinks everything is going to eat her.

Camrie checking out how big the apes are.
Image
This gorilla was so big. It was eating when we came by. His favorite was carrots and then the lettuce. He didn't eat any of the celery and only a few bits of the kale. We sat and watched him eat for a while. Then he went over to a pipe thing that was in with him and played around with it until his dessert came out, Cheerios and raisins. It was cool to see him work at getting it out.

We let the girls go on the Merry go round. Camrie asked the whole time we were there if she could do it.

That night Camrie had her last dance recital for this dance year. She is getting so big. After the recital we went out to eat with Cam's family.

Picture thanks to Camrie. This is one of the booties that my friend Kanien made that is so cute. I got the pattern from her so that I could make more and they are so fun and easy to make. We are so excited to have our new little girl come into the family. It will be fun to have the three girls and we will have girl cousins on both sides of the family again this time. With all these girls comes drama and some days I wonder how I'm going to be able to handle it all. Cam just comes back at me with "well I have to put up with 4 girls how will I do that". Our little one is due June 13th and at this point I feel like it will never get here. The last two months have seemed to have dragged on and on.

April

On the first we did Easter at the Jacobson's. The girls had eggs that they found. Some of their eggs had stickers in them that they could take and trade into a present at Leisa's Easter store. They got all kinds of fun stuff.
Image
The adults had a egg hunt after the kids. Our eggs where filled with some candy and some money.

We went over to a friend's house the Saturday before Easter and had an egg hunt. The girls found a bunch of candy and liked being able to play with their friends that we hadn't seen in a while.

We got the news that we had gotten a new cousin this month. Polly Love was born on April 11th. She was 5 weeks early. Everyone was good and they came home like two days after she was born. The girls have loved going to see her. Brook is super into babies and we have to watch her close to make sure that she is soft with the baby. I think that is the reason that I don't have any pictures of Polly because I'm to afraid to turn my back or take my eye off Brook. Polly is super cute and so tiny. Even now she is bigger then when she was born but she still seems so small.

We had a season pass to this is the place that went till the first part of May. The baby animal kick off was the first part of April so we started to go and check out all the animals. The weekend of the kickoff we went with our friends the Fowers but for some reason I don't have a single picture of that time.

Then I took Brook back the next week while Camrie was at preschool because all she keep talking about was riding the horsey and not crying this time. I decided to just take her alone because Camrie didn't really care to go and that way Brook could try riding the pony and I could stop hearing about it. She did so well this time. She ended up riding it two times.

Trying braids on Brooks hair. This had to be done in three groups (I braided one section then she would get down and play then I got her to come back and do the next one.)

We had Myla come meet us at this is the place to see all the animals. We ate lunch when we first got there and then headed to the barn where we spent most of our time. The girls riding the ponies.
