UPDATE

I am way behind but just wanted to update on a few things we have been up to lately. We LOVE summer but are excited for fall as well:)
1. Carson went to pre school- such a big boy!
2. We went to Jackson Hole and road in a stagecoach! Carson loved the cowboys everywhere!
3. Chris went to Boston for 2 weeks and brought back lots of baseball stuff after seeing a game!
4. Chris won the annual Benson firework car race- BIG deal around our neighborhood!
5. We finally made it to Lake Powell- I LOVE Lake Powell!

What we have been up too...

I got crazy busy this spring. I was going to go private but I honestly don't know how and don't have time to figure it out and it is preventing me from blogging so I will update now. We had a great spring--cold, wet, and windy, but I am done with school and we managed to squeeze a trip in over spring break on a cruise. My boys are into everything and I am SO SO SO glad it is summer....

HALLOWEEN 09

We love Halloween! Carson learned quickly how to say trick or treat and get a reward! Chris always decorates the porch scary to scare the kids. Carson was his assistant after he got done trick or treating. The only problem is now that Halloween is over I think Carson is afraid of the dark. Everything is SCARY now. He is having a hard time sleeping in his room by himself!

DISNEYLAND!!!

It was a long time coming...but we finally made it back to Disneyland! After a week of pure Disney I think we have had our fill for a bit, but it was SO fun to be there and spend time as a family. Carson was hillarious (overstimulated, exhausted, etc..) He was so funny to watch! Crew was so cute. He would just set his feet up on his stroller and go with the flow. We had a blast and it is so fun to see the pictures and all we did in three days (sorry so many!)

I had a mom of a little boy I taught last year offer to take some pictures of Crew as a gift. We ended up having to reschedule for when he was 6 months. I strategically scheduled them after their normal naptime so they would be nice and rested---not what happened!! They both wouldn't sleep that day and they were onry and tired. Carson was running all over her house and chucked a huge firetruck at Chris(in picture) and slit his nose open. Crew was pretty expressionless---
Needless to say she got some cute shots. WHY ARE PICTURE DAYS ALWAYS CHAOS!

The Summer of STAYCATIONS!!

It's been a pretty crazy summer. I went swimming with my friend Mickell the other day and she reminded me that I have been an absentee blogger. So I am trying to get back on track.
We haven't done anything too exciting--lots of "staycations" like swimming and going to museums, the zoo, etc. My boys are getting bigger everyday. Carson is starting to look like a little boy instead of a toddler. Crew is starting to get really interactive and trying to say da da..
Even though we have mostly stayed home I still love this time of year and we have had some great times!
