Guest What…..I’m Exercising

Don’t laugh….. but yes. I’ve started enrolling into a Boot Camp session in September 2013.

If you asked me then, I will say…. I’m nervous every time the session is on. Butterfly in the stomach… every session of it. Why? I’m not quite sure…..

But I think these reasons might be the reasons:

  • Feel that I’m not fit (which I was), and cannot match the others;
  • Embarrassed – always become among the last in running;
  • I don’t know most of the people except Mummy Rangers;
  • Running… running…running..  – always dreaded if there’s running activity incorporated in the BC session. I just cannot run.
  • a million other reason that may stop me from going to BC.
Water.... Need Water

Water…. Need Water

 But, then everything change:

              • I’ve started keeping pace with my fellow recruits;
              • Instead of comparing to the others, I focused on my progress;
              • I’d realized every one or two out of 10 – started like me;
              • I’d make new friends – supportive and fun;
              • I’m seeing results – and loving it.

I’d recalled my second session during my first month of enrolling- after each routine, we have to sprint from one point to another. I was not sprinting – merely slow jog if you could call it a jog and was feeling down. Until one of my fellow recruits grab my hand and said to me ” Let’s run!!!”. She repeat the same action until the end of the session. With her grabbing my hand – a surge of new energy came out. And I feel satisfied after the session.  Her action make me promised to myself – one day, I will encourage others just like her.

The next session – another fellow recruits do almost the same gesture as previous session and it struck me – this group is very supportive. You feel that you are part of the group immediately. That is one of the reason why I’d continued my enrollment for the next month and the next and… until now.

So, those who are similar to me –  let’s make a change…. I can guarantee that you guys gonna love it as much as I do……

There may be other reasons that may contribute to not joining this kind of activity – the fee, time constraints, etc but trust me…. you can start with something simple and free – like walking and jogging.

There are lots of Youtube video for HIT (High Intensity Training) that you can watch and follow.

Both of them are quite energetic and ecstatic during the party session – as usual. The session was held at Full House, Wangsa Walk. The interior are Victorian-esque and the choices of dishes  in the menu are quite refreshing. The table arrangement is not crowded which make the 2 lil munchkins bouncing all around while the adults enjoying their food.

Bon Ap·pé·tit

Salam Syawal to all my Muslims friends.
It has been a while since my last post. Ramadhan was quite colourful for me this year- lots of things had happened which I treat it as test from Allah in making me a stronger and better Muslims and person.

Apart from series of open houses, during the 3 consecutive weekend and holiday due to Hari Malaysia, I took the opportunity to try out a couple of new recipe.

Tokyo Trip 2011 – Day 1

Tokyo…..here i come.

booked the tickets last year – and i think we get a good bargain for it.  The trip was a 6D 5N inclusive of lodging at Shinjuku, Tokyo. This is my first time in Tokyo. Since amongst the itenerary list is Disneyland – We dicided that the trip covers places around Tokyo only.

Initially 6D5N seems quite enough to venture all interesting places in Tokyo (well – as i said earlier – never been to Tokyo before). But when googling away – 6D5N is actually too short to cover all the interesting ground in Tokyo. So we make do with the time that we have to covers Tokyo.

Day 1

Our flight were scheduled to depart from LCCT around 2.30pm.  Red Ranger and Pink Ranger as usual – so excited termasuk laa their aunty (wink wink). After 6++ hours flight – we landed in Haneda International Airport. Luckily one of Mummy Ranger’s neighbour is in tokyo and meet us at the airport and send us to our hotel.

We’d prebooked the hotel during the promotion period together with the flight ticket. Shinjuku Sunlite Hotel – we’d booked 2 tripple room. Since we’d arrived around 10.30 local time – it’s time to ZZZZzzzz first. The temperature was around 21°C.
