Greetings from Welland!!
Here are some words from Scott's last few emails:
"It's been a great week. Conference was so amazing!! I loved it so much! My favorite talk was by Elder Hales on prominent living. It was a nice rebuke to me, ha ha!! I just loved the whole conference. Danny Lepage's baptism went so good. Elder Nebecker did a great job. He was loving it! So it was all worth it to me to have him do the baptizing. I got to confirm him and that was a good experience as usual!! Other than that, not much for new news here. Just trying to get as much done as possible before I go home."
"We had a great Easter! We went over to a members house and ate ham!! So it was very nice. Plus we had other appointments all day, we were very busy. Always good! We got to play hockey last week. Let me just say that your son's still got it!! Ha ha!! It was a lot of fun, though. We are teaching a lot of people this week. It should be a lot of fun! We taught 26 lessons last week! We almost doubled the next companionship in the mission! Good week! We are on fire!
Loves!!
Scott

Scott's Testimony!
Dale and I received this letter from Scott with his testimony and it really touched our hearts. He said it would be alright to share it with you.
"Life is going good! Welland is amazing as always! Time has been moving so fast, I can't believe it. My time here will soon come to an end. All will be well. I don't really feel like telling you about what's going on, cause by the time you'll get this, I will have already emailed you again. But one thing I can tell you is about the love I have for this mission, for the knowledge that I have been able to gain, and for the testimony that I now have of the truthfullness of this gospel! I really have come to love the people that I serve! I have been blessed to teach people on my mission from almost every country! I love these great people and this great country! It's like home to me! I have a much stronger knowledge than I did when I left! I'm no bible scholar, but I have been blessed with the chance to read the Book of Mormon 9 times on my mission, along with other books of Scripture! My knowledge has grown and I love that! Finally, my testimony has become something strong! I know that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living god! I know that he has suffered for our sins so that each of us receive eternal life! I know that Joseph Smith did indeed see God the Father and Jesus Christ! I know that he was a prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the Gospel, and is another Testament of Jesus Christ! I know that I hold God's true authority and that the Priesthood is real! I've seen it! I know now that this work that I will give my life for, is God's work. He leads and guides it! The Gospel is true!!"

Some new Pictures!!
Recently we received a camera memory card from Scott! So, I thought I'd share some of my favorites!! It's nice to have some current pictures to share!!!
Lovin' Welland!
Scott wasn't transferred this week and thinks he might be finishing his mission in Welland. Here is a little bit from his last email.
"Well things are going so good here!! It's been really cold here and I'm looking forward to it warming up. Me and Nebecker had a really good week. We were able to find some new people to teach, which is always good. We are having a baptism this Saturday!! Yea!! It's so awesome!! He is so excited to be baptised. He can't wait to meet you guys when you come pick me up."

Farewell to Summers!!!
Scott has enjoyed all his companions very much. However there are a few that are especially important to him (2 of which are in the picture below). Elder Kent, his first companion, and Elder Summers (on Scott's right). Summers and Scott became instant "Buds" and will probably remain so forever. Summers honorably served his mission and has now gone home. So, the following pictures are a tribute to him for all the Joy he brought into Scott's life while serving together in Canada!!!
