Castleberry Family: 2012

Tyler

Tyler David Castleberry was born on Aug.15th. Weighing in at 8lbs 8oz. We love everything about this little boy! He came with a very content, easygoing disposition just like his sisters. He was waking up only once a night by around 2 weeks. Because he is now 15 months I am going to post a bazillion pictures of our little man documenting his birth until now. Enjoy.

I was doing the dishes and Michelle prances into the kitchen with a big smile on her face. I asked her what she was so happy about to which she replies: "I was just looking at myself in the mirror and I thought, wow that girl is pretty!"

While doing the girls hair this morning Rachel asked Madison if she would like a braid in her hair. Maddie replied: "No, I'm in 5th grade and only one more year till I am on the throne." (throne=6th grade)

Because of Dave's cunning remarks during opening arguments at trial this morning he got the case dismissed, because of that, one of the partners at his firm called him a dragon slayer. The girls thought that title was pretty cool. When Dave was tucking Michelle in, he told her goodnight and to keep being a good girl, to which she replied: Goodnight and keep slaying dragons!

Michelle was explaining to Dave why she was willing to be such a hard worker. She said that she wanted to help me out because I was pregnant and she knows that pregnant women have needs. Dave mentioned that even when I am not pregnant I still have needs. Michelle replied with: I have a need too, I want to marry a buff man.

We went to the Days of 47 rodeo for family night. It was a lot of fun after I cooled down from the fact the Michelle did not wear shoes and didn't realize it until we pulled into the Maverick Center!

While watching the cowboys ride the bucking broncos Maddie leaned over to me and said: "I wanna marry one of those!"

I whipped out the video camera and had Michelle in the spotlight, and I asked her what her teachers name was, low and behold it came out Mrs. Sh**, I could hardly hold the camera steady.

We had homemade pizza for dinner last night. I fed the girls and set aside some for Dave for when he got home from his meeting. Michelle came up to me and said: "Mom we ate all the pizza and left one piece for Dad." Apparently I wasn't clear that they weren't supposed to eat Dad's pizza, and I was upset cause now there wasn't any left for him. I asked Michelle what she was thinking, eating all that and she said, "I was thinking about....Pizza!"

I was helping Dave with his new gadget that helps keeps his knee iced, and it has a very heavy adapter that has to be plugged in, Michelle was helping me carry stuff and getting him all hooked up and she dropped the adapter on her foot.
