My Clean Boy

Cruz is my clean boy, he always has been. he is the only two year old that you can undress at the end of the day and not find dirt and spots all over his clothes. He loves to take baths and wash his hands...always with soap, he never lets a second go by with a bugger on his face-he cant handle a runny nose, he hates parts of his clothes being dirty he will always ask me to change his shirt if it gets a little wet Etc. He is just clean, not in a prissy way but a hygienic way. So I laughed
when he came home from next door looking like this:
ImageHead to foot dirt! Big patch of dirt on his nose, I couldn't tell if he was tan or if he rolled in the dirt, he had a dirt line where his underwear were, no shirt, no shoes, riding home on his scooter.
I liked that the boy can get a little dirt on his hands and face. He is definitely a boy, and I love that about him. He was so happy, but he only lasted about another hour before he felt disgusting and asked me for a bath :)

Mustache Men

My family has many wierd traditions, jumping in the unheated pool january 1st, RBBR, decorating for Christmas the day after Halloween etc . I love being a member of my family for this reason...I have to admit. things are NEVER boring...NEVER. You are always guarenteed a good laugh while you are around them and we know how to keep it real:) A recent tradition has my husband, Dad, brother and the newest addition to our family Callen looking like this:
Image
This tradition is known as "Men of Webster". It all started when the diamond backs put out a calender of pictures of the sexy, hot D-back players. It was a little over the top cheesy, yes. The men in our family decided to do a little calender of their own copying their poses exactly and gave them to us women in the family as Christmas gifts. I thought my grandma was going to either pee her pants or have a heart attack when she opened her calender. We appreciated our men much better! Who cares about abs and waxed chests anyways? Bring on the hairy Men of Webster!!! They are calling this years Calender the Mustache addition...although its seriously sick,
I cant wait!

Thanksgiving 2010

The Food the Fun the Family. I love Thanksgiving!!! We woke up and watched the parade, then we went and played football with everyone at Casey's new house. The kids even had their own football game going on. We all ate @ Juju and Papa's house...more like engorged ourselves @ Juju and Papa's house :) Then spent the rest of the day playing, talking and napping. It was a beautifully awesome day! HAPPY THANKSGIVING :)

Cotter's School Play

ImageCotter has been working on his reading all year & has gotten stinkin good at it! He has done so well he performed his skills in front of his entire class and their parents. He acted out & read the part of Sloppy Dog aka: the pie thief. It was the cutest thing ever! He also learned the "United States" song and can sing every state to you. We had so much fun going to see him- this is me video taping and snapping still shots at the same time...I too am skilled!

Last Dance

I have been styling hair pretty much my entire life! I taught myself how to french-braid hair when I was eight and did all my sisters hair from then on. Whether they were going to church, school, or dances I usually had a hand in what they looked like...my Mom to. I styled every single sister for every dance. They would sit there and let me create until I was happy. Well I just got to style my sister Courtney's hair for her final dance at Mesa High. I feel like this is the end of an era or something like that. I'm gonna miss this. Isn't she pretty!!!

He deserves every thing, especially a fantastic Birthday! Love you buddy!

Drive In

Image
ImageI love the Drive In movies! We went and saw, "How To Train My Dragon" or something like that. It was cute and the kids had a blast with their Allen Cousins! My car smelt like Filberto's for like a week, but it was all worth it!

Birdie Happy spot

Image

We have a little spot on our front porch that the birds love to build nest on. I always see them building nest, then I get to hear chirping a couple days later. Here are the most recent hatchlings. Welcome to our front porch little birdies.

So I'm into day three of potty training....
{I'm going to love it when it's all over!!!}

Still I can't resist this cute bum in these
undies!
Image

He is actually doing really well

Day 1: 3 mistakes, but he went pee every time I took him...because of candy
Day2: 2 mistakes, but he told me he had to go potty
Day 3: woke up dry, 0 mistakes, he told me potty & he took himself!

I am really proud of him!
We will see if he can keep it up
and be a perfect potty training kid...

I wish :)

Dairy Farm

Today we went to the Superstition Dairy Farm for a tour of the farm. We saw chickens, rabbits, turkeys, goats, horses, sheep, dogs and most importantly the COWS! We learned all about them and saw over 3 thousand Holstein cows. While we were on the hayride we saw the maternity ward for the cows and one of the cows was giving birth and we also saw a brand new baby cow only minutes old! It was the sweetest thing! The Farm gets 5 baby cows per day. When the tour was over we got to feed and pet the animals and try the cow's milk. They had over 12 different kinds of flavored milk, we ate cheese and ice cream that was delichhh!
Image
We started the tour in the class room, where we learned all about the cows.
