More Summer Fun 2011

Strike a pose!

Image
Bryleigh who cried the first time we got to our temporary housing because it had only showers learned to love taking them and found out they could be just as much fun as a bath.

Image
Lots of play-doh time!  Camryn got pretty good at making "fondant" designs out of play-doh.

Surprise!  Laundry folded by sweet Jamie with a little love note!

More beauty sleep with a unicorn horn taped to your head!

All three were selected to sing "take me out to the ball game" at the West Virginia Power game.

Dave and I were invited guests at the President's table (president of the UC and Dave was invited, I just got to come along with)... totally warranted a new outfit however!

Jamie's first ice skating experience!  She LOVED it!

We had a FUN, and BUSY summer!  Just moving in early May and knowing no one I expected a very quiet, dull, maybe even relaxing summer.  It was nothing of the sort and I wouldn't have had it any other way!  With three girls nothing is ever quiet, relaxing, or dull!!   What was I thinking??

Summer Fun 2011

There was so SO much fun in the sun!

Bryleigh learned to swim!  She got really good at the backstroke.  The older girls participated in their first swim meet!  They both impressed the heck out of me!  Camryn placed 14th in the city for breaststroke.  Jamie swam in a relay with the 11-12 year olds, did a 50, and learned to do a flip turn!  They really enjoyed their summer season and will be swimming in the fall too!  Bryleigh will be swimming on the team as well.  She went from not wanting to put her eyes in the water to swimming on the swim team in just 2 short months.

Bryleigh graduated from PRESCHOOL!

This is the beautiful view that I ran past on my first morning run in Charleston, West Virginia!
Yep, I said outside!  I am running outside because my treadmill is in storage while we are in our temporary housing.

As we passed the sign that said, "Welcome to West Virginia"  Camryn said in her best southern accent, "yeah, now bring on the accents!"
