Our First SNOW Day EVER!

This is what we woke up to today. . . SO . . . they declared it a snow day! Our first official snow day ever, yes ever!

ImageImageA delicious breakfast was prepared! Egg and cheese biscuits with a side of grits! They all enjoyed the tasty breakfast!
ImageNice and full and ready to play!!
ImageJamie must be thinking, what is this cold, white, wet, stuff that keeps touching me?
ImageImageAlmost too cute to be playing in the snow!
Image They learned a valuable lesson today. When a sister gets stuck you help her out, but sometimes laughing is allowed!
ImageImageWhat else would an Arizona mama think to do with all this snow? Get out the syrup and make SNOW CONES!!! - We pay for this shaved ice stuff in Arizona. Do you think I could get Bahama Bucks to send me some pumpkin syrup?
Image
It's not even 11am yet so there just may be snow day part 2 soon coming soon!

Catching up!

ImageDave's breakfast of Champions! Egg & cheese biscuit with a diet mountain dew code red! What a great start to the first ever "snow day"! Notice however, he was still hard at work!
ImagePreschool Day! The letter was /i/ so we had pancakes shaped like ice cream cones for lunch! They really enjoyed them!
Image
Jamie and her friend Grace! Thanks Alex, (Grace's little brother had to head to the ER for stitches) making this slumber party possible.
ImageJamie LOVES babies and loves to make them laugh! It's a good thing they really love her too!
ImageI was watching seven kids this day, do you think the babies were a bit tired? They were so cute!
ImageImageImageThe church gals at the movies! There was at least 30 of us! We had a great time!
ImageNeighbor kids at Denny's kids eat free night! So yummy! Sorry to everyone sitting by us that just wanted a nice quiet meal!

It's raining it's pouring,,, and it's PICTURE DAY!

Just in case the rain takes the straight out of Camryn's hair (she insisted on NO curl) and the poofy out of Jamie's locks I have proof they did look cute for picture day!

This cute thing didn't want to be left out! Thanks for the cute hair bows Aunt Annie, you sure make them looked loved!

The Holidays are just around the corner!

Image
Here's are yummy conference chocolate crumble! We thought the crumble looked like dirt so we turned it into a "pumpkin patch" cake!
Image
Image
They are getting so big and even cuter by the minute!
Image
Jamie thinks she looks like a punk rocking Halloween chick! I might have told her that! Did you notice the skull socks and the crimped hair?
Image Bryleigh just told me, "Mom, I think that Halloween is going to be a little bit too scary, I like Christmas better!"
Image

Thanks Grandma B

ImageAfter Jamie broke her arm my mom sent some "magic bracelets" to her in the mail! The note said, These are magic, if you wear them they will help make your arm feel better! Jamie loves them, and I think my Mom is pretty dang clever!

A bRoKeN Arm!

ImageJust shy of three weeks into Kindergarten our little bruiser (she didn't get that nickname by accident, no pun) has fallen off the monkey bars completely breaking her arm! It was broken at an angle so she had to be put under so they could set the bone back in place. She was SO awesome! She hardly even cried at all. She was brave and courageous and we were so PROUD of her ability to look on the bright side of all this. She said, "if I get a cast, I won't be able to help clean up the playroom!" A friend saw us at the doctor's office and promised Jamie whatever she wanted to help make her feel better. Jamie kindly requested gum. As Jamie was coming off of the medication they gave her in the hospital she looked at me and with a huge smile said, "the bad part is done, now I get the fun part." I asked her what the fun part was and she replied "I get to have bubble gum from Stacy, I really hope she bought me some!"

ImageImage
These pictures are 6 days later when the PINK cast was put on! She didn't look quite this happy in the hospital on the first day. She was SO excited to have a pink cast!! Jamie won't let us do much to help her. She's determined to get things done by herself! She's become very creative, using her imagination to accomplish what used to be very easy tasks! We know she's truly an amazing happy little girl! Thanks to all the friends that brought candy, candy, and more candy, and balloons! She sure felt loved!

Eww Yuck!

A friend was giving away these water frogs and Camryn's birthday was just around the corner. She's been wanting a pet for a LONG time, something that I NEVER EVER wanted (still don't), but, somehow I thought these were not going to be that bad. They do not make any noise, they can't eat furniture or pee on the rug, and they don't want let out in the early morning hours. I decided to get the African clawed frogs because I knew that she'd LOVE them! What was I thinking???

ImageImageThe day one jumped out of the tank and I had to put it back in the yucky water and get close to touching it with my bare hands (I used a lid and bucket to trap it) was the day I called my friend and asked her take these gross things back! She kindly understood that I was a wimp and plain grossed out by these yucky creatures! The girls were happy to get rid of the frogs for a small trade off of three beta fish. See how happy they are! Not a single tear, not even a wave good bye to the disgusting water frogs!! These three fish are named Andy, Dandy, and Sandy. Camryn named them all and she calls them her Andy-ishes!
Image
I thought they were rid the the yucky bug frog thing because they did admit that the frogs were mostly gross, but the next day while Dave was mowing the lawn he found a treasure and the girls enjoyed playing with it for a LONG while!
ImageImageEwwe, and (a body shiver shake), is all that I can say. .. so gross, I had three girls for a reason!
