Love

I find the whole concept of it very strange. The fact that us humans are made to be capable of feeling this emotion - being attracted to someone, being emotionally attached to someone. Not just anyone but someone specific.

The saying "there is someone out there for everyone" is queer.

Why is it that people fall in love. How does this scientifically, mathematically, logically work?

You see, it doesn't.

It isn't.

Love isn't logical. Not one bit.

Love is indescribable, unexplainable.

Romantically speaking.

I'm just incapable of grasping this concept - not yet anyway. If anything, I am terrified of it.

Mainly because it's so fragile.

It's a place where I am not ready and have not dared to enter.

One Week In

Hello there, it's officially been a week since I've arrived back home and my first week back has been very eventful indeed.

On Wednesday met up with Swee and went into town for Sushi yum. Walked around in Orchard for an hour or so in an attempt to find Tiffany Alvord but we failed ): So we went back to mine instead and had a small singing session.

We relived our childhood by opening up my Mac's photobooth and taking so many hilarious and ridiculously looking pictures:

Went to Ion the next day with Lau to have our Ice Cream Buffet!!! Mm...

It was quite sinful and we were so very full. Spent around 4 hours at Scape because a press conference for the YouTube Fanfest was happening at Singapore's YouTube space and I wanted to meet Tiffany Alvord pretty badly.

And... I DID GET TO MEET HER!!!!

She gave me a hug and she was so so so lovely!!! Yes, we waited 4 hours for just a hug and 2 pictures. Am I crazy? It was the first time I've ever done anything like this though. However, we actually missed her 3 times prior to finally meeting her which meant we needn't had to wait for 4 hours ): But I'm so happy I got to meet her!! Thank you very very very much to Lau who accompanied me and benefitted nothing from that! ): Love you xxx

Saturday! Participated in my very first Have A Hart Day - initiated by Hannah Hart, continued by us - We helped out at the FoodBank by sorting out a pile of donated food.

Helping out made me realise once again how blessed and fortunate I am. I am lucky lucky lucky!

Today! Went to watch Pitch Perfect 2 with these lovely girls (: It was really really good! I'm very happy about YouTubers appearing on movie screens (': Also, they sang Taylor's WANEGBT in the riff-off!! Hehehe.

My first week back has been filled with meeting up with my loved ones which meant forcing me out of bed = pushing jet lag out of my system pretty quickly. So thank you everyone! Haha.

May my Summer be continuously filled with more happy moments like these (:

Here's a pretty sunset view of Singapore to sign off the post. Xxx

1st Year's Over

Hey, I've survived...!

One whole year at University! It has really passed by so quickly. We had our final show/ assessment (choreography) on Wednesday.

First year at Uni was... Quite an experience. I definitely have mixed feelings about being here. Overall though, I have learnt so much. Dancing every day has been amazing. The thing I'm most pleased about studying Dance at Uni is that I have no exams to take! Zero. Only assessments and essays which we have weeks to write. Exams cripple me so I'm glad I don't have to take one anymore!!!

I am grateful for being put in a class (^) where everyone is so friendly and how we are always so encouraging of each other - motivating + consoling each other, ranting together. I feel so apprehensive about being mixed around again next year because I am terrified of the other classes. Everyone else is just so intimidating ): But I shan't worry about that right now! In 2 days I'll be on the plane flying home!!! I haven't been home for 5 months... That's a first for me. Can't wait to see all my lovely girlies (':

I shall try my very best to keep up my fitness over the Summer but I really can't make any promises. I should though, if I don't want to die when I return back in September!

Year 1 has been tough, rewarding, happy, sad, confusing and so much more. But I can't believe it has gone just like that. I am just proud of myself for making it through another new environment once again. I very much feel like a chameleon; constantly changing to fit in a different background. *Pats myself on my own back* I guess I'm doing alright after all.

Here's to a brilliant Summer!

Year 1, over and out.
