To remain optimistic, I keep telling myself that it's not really a sad thing to be entering 2011 as a single, because it just means that new opportunities await me in 2011!
Wondering if I should draw up new year resolutions?
Somehow, I gave up on doing them a long time ago, but 2011 seems like a nice number, so probably a great way to start off the year would be to draw up reasonable resolutions which I can maintain, and I would at least have some sense of accomplishment at the end of 2011! :)
Gonna work on my list later! And get ready for a legendary celebration of the last day of 2010!

BAMP YOU OFF YOUR FEET!
Actually, I'm not sure how to get started on this blogpost because I've 2 options to consider.
1) blogging about mainstream and general stuff
2) blogging about camp, which is gonna take ages and it might be a tad boring.
Well, since I'm not going out to meet Stel anymore, I shall just use this spare time to try and blog a post about camp and I'll try to make it as short as possible! :)
Day 1
Nothing much to mention about, because day 1's all about meeting new peeps and getting to know each other better.
Hahha day 2 is usually the most fun of all! Because by then, everyone would have more or less warmed up to each other & this is where the fun starts :)
The performances had to be based on clues we found from the nightwalk, but our group deviated from the clues instead HAHAH.
Overall, the camp was quite a good experience.
I did get to meet more new friends, though not as much as I would have liked!
But I shan't be greedy, all these friends I've made now, at least I can proudly say that they have once been a fun part of my life ♥♥♥
Wanna thank the people out there for making this camp a joyful experience for me, especially my teammates, the lovely leaders, my bunkmates, and the organising i/c committee! :)And thankfully this camp was a much better experience than other camps I've been to before, no politics and no bad encounters with evil people :

Theme of the camp was cartoon characters, 12 in total, PPG, Mojojojo, Sabertooth, Wolverine, Dr Oct, Penguin, Hercules, Batman, Spiderman, Mary Jane, Medusa!

Storyline: Batman had this powerful surgical tool which he created and it was stolen. Groups had to be alert at all times to find the clue to whoever stole this surgical tool!

The only highlight of the day was the nightwalk, where we had to find clues to solve the mystery of 'which cartoon character stole the surgical tool' through a 'search room' and a 'task room'!
And oh, we played indian poker, and the losing 8 had to go to other group's rooms to do forfeits!

And so, the day started off with the wet games!
With a total of 7 wet games, we got ourselves all muddy and dirty with substances like BUTTER, OIL, TAO SUAN BEANS, CHILI PADI, SOYA SAUCE ETC.

There were always 2 competing subgroups at each station & the games had unique titles such as 'buttery hotdogs' - where each group was given a slab of butter and the whole group had to finish rubbing the slab of butter on themselves.
But that's not all!
Next. the 2 groups had to compete in a game of dog and bone where we were required to snatch a bar of soap on a slippery and muddy mat(you know the bluey, pasar malam kind?)

There was a campfire in the night, the VERY FIRST REAL CAMPFIRE i attended in NP so far!

Overall, the camp was quite a good experience.
I did get to meet more new friends, though not as much as I would have liked!

Santa loves us!
This is gonna be such a rushed post because I'm leaving for a 3d 2n camp(BAMP) tmr noon!
AND I STILL HAVE YET TO START PACKING.
But to sustain all you readers in continuing to read my blog, I hafta be hardworking right!
I'll try to keep this post as short and sweet as possible! (don't blame me if pics take up space cos pics colour up everything in my blog!^^)
Basically, during Christmas Eve, I spent my noon shopping for presents with Stel, then dinner + movie + another round of shopping for Xmas presents @ Jurong Point with Jac, Justin & Edward, and we hopped over to Jac's house to ton!
Main highlight of the night: THE NTUC EXCHANGE!
Ahemmmms. Supposedly from the title, you can already guess where we went to shop for our presents right!
It was a super impromptu decision; after dinner, we used whatever remaining time we had to kill before the movie to actually SHOP AT THE 24 HR NTUC for each others presents! (on a draw-lot basis)
We drew names first, it failed.
So we took another alternative by choosing phones with eyes closed, and it was actually kinda funny because in the end, we all knew who was gonna be buying what for who.
Cannot help it lah, all 5 of us inside NTUC leh! Somehow abit difficult to hide from each other.
Unless its like some 'angel & mortal' game with a big group of people, where the chances of picking your own name out of the pile is gonna be low, and its super secretive because you're not going to be buying presents in the same place as your 'angel' or 'mortal' (too bad the 24hr NTUC was the only shop open then, and the only one that sold a wide variety of general goods, suitable for guys/girls alike)
Din expect the 2 guys to be so creative, their presents even more creative than us!
And on hers was a message saying sth along the lines of 'I bought this for you so that you will remember to text me everytime you shit xxxx2545'
HAHA FUCKING CUTE SIA TABOLEH TAHAN.
Xmas day itself - Went over to Cheryl's house for dinner! Lovely mum of hers cooked for us 4!

So sickening, why the clubs everyday so packed
Yesterday.
Lunch-ed with Eric & shan!
Long time no meet, and during school days we most probably won't be able to meet him for lunch anymore!
Apparently he's converted his house living room into a studio for future photoshoots, and once its been fully furbished, we would be invited over for shoots too!
Hehehehehe photoshoots are fun because I like pretty pictures :)
Of course its fun, but there's always the tiring part.
Your posture, the perfect pose, the facial expression, and having to warm up to your photographer etc...
MUST BE THICK SKINNED! HAHA
Thank goodness we did a shoot with him before, met him on several lunch occasions, so we're more or less familiar with him already.
Shan made a blunder yesterday!
We rushed and stressed ourselves while shopping because she mistook the date to be today's date, the 23rd!
So we were like rushing while sourcing for presents because we had to 'reach a bbq at 5pm that day'
We ran around in circles of the whole of vivo like mad dogs because we couldn't find the shops we wanted to re-patronise. LOL MUCH?
Anyway I gave the bbq a miss tonight because I've really been out EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY and I'M GETTING TIRED OF RUNNING OUT DAILY.
It's taking a toll on my skin, my health.
CANNOT DEFEND AGAINST DARK EYE CIRCLES AND PIMPLES. *pukes*
In need for massages and facial soon!
AND IM GONNA PIAK ON A MASK RIGHT NOW^^

K.o-ed at Edward's house after a night at Ph again!
Was supposed to go ButterFact, but the whole of Singapore decided to turn up there last night, for some weird reason, so yes, we hopped over to Ph instead.
Thank goodness the queue there was much shorter. ^^
Anyway I couldn't really sleep and was kinda emo+stone, so I was dying to get home.
Idk, something's up with me these few days.
I shouldn't be having these needs.
Independent and strong is what I should be.
And I should not let myself get affected so easily!
It's alright to be weak at times, but I wanna be strong.
Sometimes I'm just too afraid to hurt others but I end up hurting myself. Should make myself happy first right?
I should train to be an ice queen. Heh.

Someone fussing over me, worrying over me, without him having a gf to worry about.
Would totally love a guy bestie like that.

Deprived existence,
I wonder if being able to hold your liquor level well is an advantage or a bane?
When you see your friends getting high so easily and you can't, yet you're stuck taking care of them.
The feeling kinda sucks alot.
Really not enjoyable, if it happens to you quite often.
Yesterday was a real waste of money, doubt I'm going back to Zouk/Phuture again.
So expensive, so crowded, so lousy.
Music wasn't great, crowd sucked, skyhigh ticket price. WTF SERIOUSLY.
And I paid 28 bucks to club for 15 mins and to sit on the kurb the whole night watching the stars.
Hmmm. sounds great?
OKAY NEVERMIND. I ONLY WENT LAST NIGHT BECAUSE I'VE NEVER BEEN TO ZOUK BEFORE.
Total I paid close to $60 for the experience. Expensive, but learnt my lesson.
Its horrible when people forget you actually exist.
