Jac's 22nd staycation on 19-20 March 2014

Photo heavy post, yet I should still do a post on this.

First time being involved in planning for a friend's birthday surprise and overnight stay at a hotel!!!
And it was a great staycation with awesome company, one of the closest bunch of friends in my life.
Minus the strict hotel regulations though.

We placed the unlighted candles there. These did not come with the room we booked.

In case you're wondering which hotel this awesome room is from - The Fluid Room (category: lifestyle room)  at New Majestic Hotel @ Bukit Pasoh Road (exit outram mrt)

Midst of decorations:
We spammed balloons everywhere, and used up all 100 mini candles (bought from IKEA).

This wardrobe opens out to an empty space, so we could have hid other guests were if we were holding a bigger scale surprise for her.

Toilet on the left, shower on the right. 

Amazing shower they have, 2 of us could actually bathe simultaneously from one main shower fixture!!

The shower fixture consists of the spa-type head, the normal shower rod (if you wish not to have the rain shower), and a side hydro-massage jet which spurts out enough water for another person to rinse too.

Of cuz, if you use 2 at a time, water flow is affected, but enough for 2 to shower/rinse.

Amenities are provided are from Kiehls.

Good lighting, I like how my skin looks dewy here. Or maybe it is. haha

Very big space in the middle of the room for us to gather and carry out our drinking games.

After all what's a party without drinks!

Albeit a lavish birthday surprise, but efforts paid off, just look at the happy birthday girl!!!

Hair colour 2014

Hi, happy sunday.

Doing up these way due blogposts to clear off old photos.

This was the hair colour I did for CNY this year, inspired by the likes of Beyonce and Michelle Phan.
And yes! brown sugar it was.

And the outcome:
(no bleach involved)

NOT BAD RIGHT.
I honestly think I can pull off brighter colours better than dark.

During CNY:

Got my hair done at Shirley Mah!
Look at how luscious and shiny my hair is. I'm so glad they're located near where I live. Hehe

My v first poached egg!

I think i made a pretty good attempt, although I failed when scooping up the damn egg. It really isn't as easy to perfect a poached egg as it seems!! 

I thought it looked pretty good here 

When I scooped, it came out as a disfigured clump! And the yolk was done medium so it wasn't that runny to begin with lor. 

Insert ham & black pepper after I've chowed half my bread >.< too hungry!! And tasty^^

Remnants from the pot. Stained by the runny egg yolk while I was scooping the egg up.

Hahaha I think I can attempt Sunday breakfasts for the family now!! *proud*

Oh and i refuse hollandaise sauce after I realised how much butter goes in there-_-
