Missionaries

Image
We had the privilidge of having Don & Teresa Bolls share with our church on 4/29/07. They serve as missionaries in the Niger Republic, Africa. They have been there for 23 years. We enjoyed a great time in the Lord with them and learned how we can continue to pray for their on-going ministry.
If you would like to contact them or learn more about their ministry here is a link to the Zerma Team website: www.zermateam.org
Here is the Bolls' email address: [email protected]

Kindergarden Graduation

Image Kyra received her certificate of completion for kindergarten on Thursday night. She also received a character award. She is developing a heart for missions and her constant prayer is that people who do not know Jesus would know him and that people who do not have Bibles would have one. We presented her with a necklace that has a sandal with a cross on it and we read Romans 10:15 - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! We hope that every time she sees that sandal she will remember that God says people who preach the gospel have beautiful feet!

I would also like to congratulate the Kindergarten teacher - Wendy. She has successfully taught Kyra for a school year! What a huge commitment. She has been so diligent and she has done a great job. She did a lot of this while pregant and having to stay off her feet! You can't have a student without a teacher and Kyra has the best one in the world - her Mom.

You might have the coolest Paw-Paw in the world if...

Image ...you go to stay with him and he takes you fishing in the river and helps you catch the whopper - flopper!

Whopper-Flopper

Image
David & Kyra had quite a fishing expedition with their Paw Paw. The carp they caught was so big they broke several lines and finally had to use a net to get him out of the water! David called and told his mom that he caught a whopper-flopper! Most fish stories are just that - stories, but these two have a picture to verify thier claims.
