One good news after another :D

Wah.. things have been going real well lately.. but haven't been updating much, cos usually after work, and having dinner, etc, the one thing on my mind is usually Dreamland. :) Well, at times will force myself to at least check and reply some emails. Most of the time, will just sit there like some blur idiot in front of the tv with the news on, and me watching but not seeing, hearing but not listening to it..hehe *guilty look*

As I mentioned, things HAVE been going real well lately. Here's a brief on what happened.. :)

Yew's SPM results :)
First and foremost, I want to congratulate my sis, Yew, on achieving great results for her SPM!! Congrats, girl!! ^^ Let's see, that was on 12 March 2008. She obtained 8As, and 2Bs. Of the 8As, 6 are A1s, and 2 are A2s. And both her Bs are B3s. Very good results indeed. :) Out of the three of us, she has scored the best. Ya, it may not be the esteemed 'straight A1' results, but they're good results nonetheless, and I'm so proud of her! ^^

Yin's Borneo Cup 2008 Debating Finals :)
Secondmost (there may not be such a word, so am just creating it to make myself feel smart ;P) I'd like to congratulate Yin on her Borneo Cup Finals!! Haha, long overdue, and have already congratulated her before, but wanna congratulate again :P Have always been a lo-so person, so it's ok, she'll understand even if I repeat it ten or twenty times, right Yin? ^^ Well done girl! ^^

My new job :)
My new job has been going well lately, so ya, am making good progress.. which puts me in a good mood with a sense of fulfilment. *sigh* Still on the learning curve.. heck, every day is a learning experience. -_-"

Cooking at home :)
Alex and I have 'kai jiang' our stove quite some time ago.. hah.. at last able to cook at home to save some cost.. eating out for dinner HAS been aching on our pockets.. or wallets.. or purse *whatever* ;P hmm, am entertaining the idea of having another blog on my cooking adventures.. or rather, cooking misguidedness (another word there that I've created..*paiseh*). See how la.. Let's see how well I maintain this blog, before considering having another. No point having two blogs when I can barely maintain one right? :)

Gathering :)
Had a gathering last night with some friends.. so nice to see them. We had a great time! Haven't seen some of them for YEARS!! Since our Uni days, I think.. hai.. working life sure gets everyone busy and apart.. And the wonderful part of it all was, when we met up, it just seemed like we were never apart for that long.. just clicked and jokes and laughter were in the air. And of course, with any gathering the food was an important element.. and the food was excellent! YUM!

Palm Sunday Mass :)
Went for my first Palm Sunday Mass here at KL. It was a combination of English, Tamil and Mandarin mass. Really something new for me, cos we dun have that in Kuching. All in all, it was a new experience for me. :)

My next step in my blogging journey...

Well, not much to mention at this point, really, cos my next step here basically means my own exploration of how to customise my blog.. at this point, I haven't really decided which template I like, and colour scheme. So do expect my template and colour scheme to change from time to time ya.. hehe, till I find one that I'm pleased with.. Petty, and fussy, I know. Then again, I've always been a 'more-particular-than-usual' person (ask my family members on my habit when it comes to buying stuff.. :D Can sense Yin and Yew going -_-" ) ^^

My first post... ^^

Today is a historic day for me.. It's my birthday!! Ya, one year older..but another year wiser right? :) Also, today is considered historic in the sense that I have created my first blog.. A HUGE step for me, a not-so-IT-savvy person, but I am learning. One step at a time..Slow and steady wins the race! :D
