Trip to England--Sept 2013

 Went to see my friends, the Manwarings, outside of Oxford, England. Had a great time seeing the sights (Bath, Stonehenge, Oxford, Blenheim Palace), relaxing and catching up with old friends.

First Days of School

 Hathaway's first day of the last day of preschool.

 Tessa first day of second grade. Oakley first day of 5th grade

Camping in VA

 We went on our annual camping trip. We usually go with another family but all of them were not able to go, but we were able to take their son, which made out trip so much better. We had fun hiking and camping near a stream.

Church History/Niagara Trip

 For our summer trip we went to Ithaca to hike the water falls, then to Palmyra, on to Niagara Falls and finally to Kirtland. It was a fun mix of history and nature.

The kids probably liked Niagara Falls the best--and it was pretty cool. I was touched by the great personal sacrifice of the early saints. We also visited a lot of old friends, which was nice.
