For Jenna's party we had a Puppy Party. I was practicing my balloon dogs. The kids loved it. Its harder than you think and we went through many balloons.

Aunt Karen is awesome. I told her I would like a photo prop for the kids to take pictures in. It turned out awesome and the kids loved it. I bought face paint and we painted all the kids faces like puppies. So cute! Her party was a hit. They still talk about it 5 months later

Hearing your kid has a cavity make you feel like you failed...especially when you feel like you try so hard to brush his teeth twice a day and floss every night. ugh the pain of teeth. He survived his first filling and impressed the dentist office staff. He took the numbing needle like a camp and he is so brave. Proud mama. And yes I did cry while he was there.

The kids love having their older cousins older. I snapped this picture of a rare calm moment while they looked at the search and find book.

A few weeks after Jenna turned 2 we started potty training. She was showing several signs of being ready so we took the plunge. It started off great, then we hit a rough patch but here we are in May and she is a Potty Princess! An accident here and there but that's normal!

I have upped my running game to start training for my first full Marathon in April. April 16th. I am excited but very nervous too. I know I can do it I just have to have more faith in myself. 26.2 is far!

Parker is getting so big. He was helping me write the names on a few gift tags for Christmas presents this year. He still needs lots of help but he is going to soar next year in school. I love my smart boy!

Jenna and I joined my cousin Heather with her two girls Sophie and Hannah to the botanical gardens. They had an event where the kids could coat a pinecone in peanut butter and roll it in bird seed for to hang in the garden for the birds.

Our annual ward Christmas Party. Daddy was working but we still had a good time. Parker loves him some hot chocolate and so do I!

I hosted pre school this month in December. We learned about the letter "I" i is for igloo. We made igloos out of ice cream cones, frosting, and marshmallows. We learned about the letter "L" l is for lights! Jenna wants to be a part of everything we do. such a big girl. She loved this activity and did well!

Our poor Christmas tree! This year was worse than last year as far as the kids messing with it. We lost a few ornaments this year. Jenna thought they were balls that should be thrown around. I just love the picture on the right. This is the perfect example of what a silly little girl we get to spend our days with! She is a hoot!

hanging with cousins! I love that they love each other and that I am close to my cousins too! I don't speak to many of my cousins from my moms or my dads side so I love that we have reconnected as adults!

Our December weather has been crazy. several days of 75 degree weather. We had to take advantage. flying kites, days at the park, and all day spent outside.

every year our neighbor goes all out with his lights. He has them set up to tune to a radio station. The kids love it and if I let them they would watch it every night.

My little helper. We made rice Krispy treats for Christmas.
