Sweet Kate - You are 9 months old. I can't believe it. You are precious in every way. I love you SO.
-you have 8 gappy, funny teeth. i love them.
-your eyes are mostly green, sometimes brown and yellowish, too. so pretty. just like your daddy's.
-you are standing up on everything.
-you are crawling(with one crawling leg and one walking leg...it's so funny to watch).
-you are still so shy at times.
-you got sick from sicky germs the church nursery this past month and ended up with an upper respiratory and double ear infection. wah wah.
-you still look just like your daddy.
-you steal every thing you can from your brother...his sippy cup, his food, his toys, etc. too funny.
-you eat grown up AND baby food and you only nurse 3x a day now.
-you are sleeping a little better now. you go down at 9pm and wake up 1-2 times before midnight and then sleep until 8:30am.
-we put your crib in Levi's room this month, but can't put you in there until you sleep thru the night....poor levi. i won't mess up his peaceful sleep. so, you're now in a pack n play across the room from mama, instead of the crib that was right BY mama. it has helped. you were reaching out to mama in the middle of the night every other hour. poor baby.
-you say "ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma"(levi said "da da da da" first, so it's only fair!) and babble a lot, now.
-you only take one nap a day...usually 1.5 hours(and sometimes you'll sleep for 15 minutes in the mornings-but it's NO nap!).
-you love to look in the mirror, it makes you smile at that pretty girl you see.
-you love bath time. it's so much easier now that you sit up all by yourself!
You are my precious, precious girl. I'm thankful that God chose me to get to be your mama.
I want to remember everything, but I've already forgotten things about Levi's first year until I re-read them...and that was JUST A YEAR AGO! ugh. Thankful for a blog to be my "diary" of sorts.
Mason...the "big bubba", #19-Corner. Freshman. 14 years old. Time flies.
He was 4, just turning 5 a month after Chuck and I started dating.

Our closet redo, by my brudder-in-law....SO AWESOME!
I will post the finished product SOON! It is SO amazingly organized. I love it.
Our bedroom looked like THIS for 3 days while we cleaned, painted, sorted thru clothes...OMGOSH....Ridiculous. The Purple Heart donation totaled 8 large bags!!!

Anyone who knows Reese knows she is very well "studied" on the topic of American Girl Dolls and their new "bitty" dolls...which is what I have called Kate from the beginning. Awweeee.
Nana's Birthday...#58....almost exactly 20 years older than me. Lookin' good, momma.
And speaking of birthdays...Maddi-girl turns 18 in 2 weeks. Wowzers.
Praying she is always as pretty and natural on the inside as she is on the outside.
We are a blessed family. I don't take it for granted.
I'm thankful.
