>I, Jen, am the sole user of this blog and use it to process, whine, brag, ask questions and seek out a community. Tiff, is more of a pen & paper kind of gal, and has started a journal for Connor of her thoughts and hopes for our son. I asked permission to type her latest entry, so here are Mama’s words to Connor.
“You are already two months old! Last week, I visited Papa Joe after his car accident. When I returned, you had grown eye lashes and could smile on command. I was amazed because I was only gone three days! During that time, I missed you so much. Mama J said you were having upset tummies and seemed to be hurting. It felt so good to come home and hold you.
I think mama J and I are adjusting to your needs. Breastfeeding is going well except for an occasional spicy meal that upsets your stomach. You sleep well and eat well. We are amazed at how you can lay in your crib and coo, just happy to look at your mobile and soothe yourself. Almost everyday we say to one another how you are such a good baby! Mostly, we are amazed by your spirit, your temper, your aura. We love the way you stretch out your fingers. We love the way you gulp up milk as if you have never eaten before. We love the way you concentrate on your favorite toys. We love your smile. We love the way you seem so happy in your own skin. “
