Blogs are more fun with pictures
But I don't have any! :) (At least any new ones!) These last couple of weeks have been the pits at our house! But counting my blessings, the poop parade arrived at a time when I only had 1 shift to work and calling in sick does wonders.
Cyle was sick for about a week and a half. He came home from work one night and took a couple days off after that. Let's just say his 20lb weight loss in 1 week does wonders for our weekly goals! Work is crazy for him due to the holidays.
I am still working and doing school while attempting to fit sleep somewhere in the mix.
Xander and Cooper both had the same bug that Cyle did. In fact it started the same night as him too. I was not too enthusiastic about the midnight to 3am barf spree from Cooper, promptly followed by the 3am to 5am barf spree by Xander. But hey, who needs an alarm clock when you can be woken up at exactly the time you need to by a child barfing down your back?
Just when I thought the bug had passed (after doctors visits and immodium) Xander decided (or rather his body decided) that he didn't really like that bug so much and so he had an allergic reaction to it. The poor boy broke out in hives from head to toe (I wish I had better pictures than the ones I took with my phone). His knees and elbows swelled up to the size of baseballs. Because of the nasty reaction, we now have a child with major 'roid rage. (probably not, but he has not been the nicest child to deal with.)

Do I dare say...
Could life get any crazier? Holy Cow!
So in an effort to make my life crazier, I worked 50 hours each week for the last 2 weeks. I continue to go to school and do my clinicals. On my days off, I am cleaning, because lets be honest, I don't do it any other day and I am usually wondering what is growing on the dishes in the sink...
But despite my being gone a lot (and my sleeping a lot), my kids are still alive and for the most part still happy! (Teething makes for unhappiness, but that cannot be attributed to my parenting skills).
Cyle is still working and has started taking the boys to a little gym class once a week.
I have not gotten recent pictures, but plan to with the upcoming holiday (my favorite, I might add). But let me post my most recent montage of pictures from Cooper's bday (more than a month ago)

PS...can you tell that my children are rarely clothed and/or out of their pjs? Don't judge. I am a mom working full time and in nursing school....

Day 1: Old
As a part of an online "class" I am taking pictures and posting them according to the theme of the day! I don't have a fancy camera and in fact I am not using my camera due to my unfortunate dropping/breaking that I inflicted on my camera.
Anywho, the theme for this picture is "old". The only thing that I could think about (because it is all I am doing these days) is going through all of my boys' old clothes and packing away the ones that don't fit. It just kind of worked out that my son was having a meltdown at the exact time that I tried to take a picture :)

If the 1st one was in focus, or not so grainy, that would be my favorite, but alas I think I have to go with the 2nd one.

Spring Training 2011
We Love the Giants! We love going down to Arizona to watch baseball and this time we were fortunate to get to be there for 2 weekends! Here are some pics of our trip!
(pardon the pictures, I dropped our camera on the first day and we couldn't change any of the settings or see the picture until we put it on the computer!)
