April 2015

In April, we took a trip to Phoenix for Kyle's work. While we were there, we went to a Diamondback vs. Dodgers baseball game.

The Dbacks won and there were fireworks after the game.

At the end of the month, Landon's school took a field trip on the Durango train.

We love his little school.

Baseball practice also started this month, but I didn't take any pictures until games started in May.

March 2015

March was a busier month for our family. 

It started out with Landon's Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. He won second place in his division for this car:

Unfortunately, Kyle and I were out of town for the pinewood derby. Kyle got me Brad Paisley tickets for Christmas, and this was the weekend we went. It was in New Mexico and we had a wonderful weekend.

Also, while in New Mexico we went to White Sands National Monument.

At the end of the month, we went to Grand Junction for Spring Break. We went to Colorado National Monument and camped in the RV nearby. 

The boys rode bikes while I relaxed with a good book. We went with our friends the Waltmans and they showed us the good bike trails.

It was a great month.

February 2015

This month was Cole's 12th Birthday! We got more snow and even a snow day (which is rare because we don't usually lose school for snow). Here are some pictures from the snow day!

January 2015

We rang in the new year pretty low key-eating junk food and watching movies.
January was a pretty dull month. We put away the Christmas decorations and played in the snow.
I didn't take very many pictures this month, but here are a couple of Cole and Landon playing in the snow.

December 2014

I haven't blogged in a long time, as you can tell. I decided to hit the high points month by month so I could add some pictures that family and friends have asked for.

During the month of December, I primarily focused on Christmas and buying new decorations for the house. We had a great visit from Meme Bennett and Dustin for a few days over Christmas Eve and Day. The boys got a wii to replace their lost xbox. We had a wonderful holiday and vacation from school.

It was the end of an eventful and long year and we were glad to be enjoying it in our new house.

I haven't posted on this blog for several months. We have been super busy with building our new house. Here are some pictures of the interior of the house. We moved in about the 3rd week of October.

The house is still pretty empty as far as decorations go, but we are so happy to be back in our home. It is even better than it was before.
