Merry Christmas! I almost left the blogging world. Okay, I did leave the blogging world with no intentions of coming back until I saw my sister in law Candace's cute blog book that her husband had printed for her for Christmas. I have been doing all of my scrapbooking on Shutterfly and it seemed pointless to try and do double duty with a blog too. But I don't really journal on Shutterfly like I would in a blog. So my 2012 goal (which I also believe was my 2011 goal) is to start blogging again with intention to print each year. We will see if I last as long as February but hey at least I have good intentions right?

We had our first Christmas at home this year! It was very weird but really sweet at the same time. It was so fun to watch the girls get so excited all month about our Elf "Skips" and all of the Christmas traditions. They were a blast Christmas morning and I can't think of a happier Christmas I've had. They seriously made my Christmas morning. My grandparents came over and opened presents with us. It was fun to have them there. They actually were awake before us and sat outside our house waiting for us to call them. Haha! They are so cute. Carsyn had asked for one thing all month and it was a "strolla" (baby stroller). When she opened it she screamed to my grandparents "Santa bought me a strolla!" It was so cute that she is so excited at such a young age. Anna asked for a scooter and was pumped and overwhelmed by all her toys. She just kept going from one thing to the next. I remember those days. We started our first tradition of decorating cookies for Santa. Growing up my family's tradition was to make homemade pizzas. Everyone had there own dough and made whatever kind of pizza they could come up with. Clayton came up with a branch off of that tradition and thought of giving us each our own cookie dough and decorating our own cookies for Santa. It was fun to start our own deals this year even though I miss my old traditions with my family. After we got the kids to bed on Christmas Eve, Clayt and I went out into our camp trailer and wrapped presents. Also, another tradition. Haha. Gosh, I'm so big on traditions. It actually was really cute because Clayt set up the generator so we would have heat out there. Clayton spoiled me this year and I feel bad because I felt like he gave me way more than I gave him! I was really excited and surprised to get a new camera! Hence, my new found love for blogging once again. We spent Christmas day with the Cutler Family and it was fun to see everyone. They are always a blast. Carsyn was attached to Grandma Lydia and becomes a bear when there are too many people around. So I apologize to all. She's still my little sweetheart though. Even if she hates me when Grandma is around. :) Chase's girlfriend (I guess I can say that? I think they are? But I'm not sure...) Anyway, Chase's friend that is a girl and really cute threw him a surprise party for his birthday. (The day after Christmas.) We all got together again and had fun. It was a really fun and busy weekend. Here are the pics! The ones from Christmas morning suck. I had just barely opened my camera and didn't know how to use it. Clayt was so cute he even had it charging for me so I could just open and use. Such a sweetie even if he plays poker twice a week. Love you babe. Haha.
