Pictures with Santa!

Saturday afternoon, Clayton and I decided to take Anna
to see Santa Clause.We have been practicing relentlessly
with her on what Santa says and what he looks like. She
always says "Hu hu huh" instead of "ho ho ho" but at least
she tries! Anyway, she always loves to point out "Sanna"
to us whenever she sees decorations of him. I was pretty
optimistic that she would be okay with Santa once we saw
him. Notice, however, that there are no pictures of Santa.
I couldn't even get her to sit on his lap. She started screaming
bloody murder like 12 feet away from him! He even tried to
lure her in with some candy...but she was not buying it. I
haven't seen her get this upset in a long long time! These
pictures are pictures that were taken after we traumatized
her with Santa. She is definitely NOT a happy girl! This
trip just didn't turn out like I thought it would in my mind! I
guess better luck next year!

Anna & Emilie

I know. I know. I am so far behind on my posts! It has been such a
busy time for us lately but I finally have some down time today. I
decided I would try and catch up on my blog! School is finally over
next week! I cannot wait. It would be nice to not have to worry
about any homework for a while! Anyway, these are some pics of
Anna & Emilie Gilberg a couple of week ago. "Emmy", as Anna
calls her, is the cutest little girl and Anna loves her! They are
best friends. Here are some pics of them when Emmy came
over to play.

Anna's First Potty Experience!

Anna will probably hate me for these pictures one day!
But she made me so proud when she pooped on the potty!
We were so proud of her and made such a fuss when it was
over that she kept trying to go to the bathroom more
just to make us happy! It was so cute. I love this little girl.
P.S. (Sorry about the gross pic of me but I couldn't pass up
the photo op with Anna even though I was ready for bed!)

A tribute to my Jenni.

JENNAY! JENNAY!

Well everyone... it was a very very sad night tonight. My
Jenni's little heart was broken. I actually felt really bad
for Deanna too. But honestly, can you believe this guy?
He USED to be my favorite bachelor of all time. But now
I'm just ticked off. I can't believe that he didn't choose
either of them! This is definitely a first in bachelor history!
I was really really so confused and mad until I talked to
Rach though. She pointed out a key things. After Brad said
goodbye to Jenni he said "as hard as it was for me to tell
Jenni goodbye it is going to be even harder for me to tell
Deanna that she is the one". He was planning on being
with Deanna until he actually said the words "I said
goodbye to Jenni". Then he took the little circles around
the yeard for some odd reason. Mikkel and I could not
figure that one out. It was like he really did feel bad that
he denied Jenni. Oh well. I won't go off anymore. Needless
to say, I'm VERY VERY disappointed. I guess we will just
have to watch and see what happens tomorrow!
Anyway, on a better note, you all missed an awesome Bachelor
Finale Party tonight! We had a blast at the APX building! I
managed to poor an entire can of mountain dew all down my
pants, but besides that fun times were had by all. Haha. I got
some great pics of the partay!

Deer Hunt 2007!

Okay, I know I just barely posted some pics but
I have to add a couple more really fast! I was just looking
at my Casey's myspace page and she had some of
our deer hunt pictures posted! I was cracking up
at them and had to put them on here! They are too
funny. We have a ton more cute ones but I will have
to wait until she gets on the ball and emails them
to me. Our camera was broke at the time and so
we had to rely on everyone else to take the pics!

Anna & The Fridge

My obsession with food has been handed down in my daughter's
genes. She absolutely LOVES to eat. I am happy that I don't
have to worry about her getting enough but she never stops!
She is a garbage disposal! She has this strong obsession with
the fridge. She is always going to the fridge and making up
things that she wants just so somebody will open it for her
to actually find what she wants. She will say things like
"Wa Wa" or "Cheese" but then she will pull out some random
thing. On this particular day it happened to be yogurt. I took
a million pictures of the whole process we go through when
she is choosing what she wants out of the fridge.


First, she tells makes me open the fridge.

After what seems like hours of contemplation, she chooses the yogurt!

She is very happy with her choice and wants me to open it!

She devours it in seconds! (Don't mind Clayt in the back in his garments! Studly!)

I am sorry I haven't posted in forever! Lil miss Anna has
been sick all week. It has pretty been the worst week. Anna
has some herpes virus thing and has mouth sores everywhere.
(It really isn't the herpes virus but it is something
that sounds like that) She has been so sick and unhappy. It has
been a hard week. I have had to a lot of my classes because I
can't go to school and work with a sick baby. Sometimes ya gotta
choose I guess. Anyway, these are some pictures that we a week
so ago. They are just cute little pics of Anna in the t-shirt that
Grandma Heidi sent her. Before I go, what about the Bachelor?
Words cannot express how happy I am that Bettina went home.
I was a little worried that my Jenni was outta there. They didn't
hit it off as much as I would have liked. I think he will definitely
choose Deanna. We are going to have a Bachelor finale party in
two weeks. Everyone who is passionate about the Bach is invited!

Happy Halloween!

So here are the pictures of Anna's first Halloween!
Okay, it's her second but her first official get into it type of
Halloween. I think Clayton & I had even more fun that we
actually got to go out and trick or treat again. I swear that is
the best thing about having kids is that you feel like you can
be a kid again. Anna had to wait for me to get home from
work before we could go trick or treating and so Clayt left the
front door open for her to watch all the other kids trick or
treating. For some reason she liked to put the bag on her
head. I'm an awful mom. I still haven't gone over the "don't
put a bag on yourhead lesson". I will get to that. Anyway, we
started the night out by trick or treating around Sunset Ridge
with the Gilbergs and Mandy & Max. Anna was a little leopard
or cat or cheeta. I can't really figure out which one. haha.I'm
thinking it was a leopard? Anyway, then we met up with the
Blasdells and the Hawkins and went on a haunted hayride
that was "aimed at kids".I think theyshould have posted a sign
that says "aimed at kids over age 7". Halle was so upset! It broke
my heart. I posted some of the psycho costumes that the littlekids
had to look at though! haha. It was still pretty fun. We went and
visited the Castagnos after that and saw Cyd and little Tre. It was
a pretty swell night. Happy Halloween!
