I surely do miss my Dad, that's for sure. He is always missed, but I miss him especially on this day. I know that the boys would love to have met him, and I know he would really enjoy the boys. I know he would have shown them all kinds of neat things -- boats, airplanes, turning a leaf into an boat, turning a stick and leaf into an airplane, etc. I have a feeling they already know each other, and that they will be excited to meet again one day. It's tempting to be very teary when I think about him, but I can visualize the times that he told me never to be sad. Ughh--easier said than done. Maybe Andrew was calling to wish him a Happy Birthday!

We walked to good ole Walgreens this morning, and we bought some small toys (little cars and books) for the MS trip. The hope is that they will be so entertained (ha) by their new toys, that they will be completely happy for the 8 hour drive. Well, hopefully they will sleep for at least 2 or 3 hours of the trip. We don't have a video player in the Jeep, so we may take the laptop to play a few of their favorite Einstein videos.
When the boys went down for their nap, I got a little more packing done. Then, after their nap and lunch--we went to the tennis courts with L&R. Yes, another typical day. :) Anyone reading this would be able to read one day and know what we do everyday.
This picture of Sam made me laugh. His hat looked a little like a bonnet.

Just got back from Young Woman's. We had a good time at the art store looking at different art for their Personal Progress.
I have one more picture that I took right before I left for YW. This is another one of Sam. It speaks for itself. I like John's hand in the background--making sure he doesn't take a spill.

Another fun day...
We went on a walk to Walgreens with L&R this morning. It was already a little warm this morning, so we didn't stay out too long.
After the boys went down for a nap, I had a visit from Annie, Ruth, and Nicholas. They brought over an Easter happy--The Lamb of God cd and some popcorn in a carrot shaped bag. I am looking forward to listening to the cd, and I have already eaten lots of popcorn. That really made my day!!
After the boys got up and ate their lunch, we went to the tennis courts. L&R met us there, and the boys had a great time! One of these days, I'll try to do something a little new and exciting for the boys, but for now--they are pretty happy with the same ole routine! :)
Here's a picture, from yesterday, of Andrew getting cozy in the chair.
Typical Day
The day was pretty much like all other days. Soon, I am going to find some ways to spice things up and make things a little more exciting for the boys. Today, we went for a walk to Walgreens with L&R. She wanted to get a shirt at the Cajun store. I had a few things to pick up at Walgreens. It was already pretty warm, so we didn't stay out too long.
While the boys were napping, Annie, Ruth, and Nicholas came by for a visit. They brought over an Easter happy--an Easter CD called The Lamb of God and some "Popcornopolis" shaped like a carrot. I ate quite a bit of popcorn already. It was really good!!! That really made my day! I am looking forward to listening to the CD.
After the boys got up from their nap, they had lunch, played, and we decided to go to the tennis courts. L&R met us there.

Fun Visitors Today
Today we had a visit from T-T-Boom Boom (aka Aunt June). She stopped for a visit after work. The boys were sleeping, so I got to catch up with Boom Boom for a while. Then, a little later--we went to surprise the boys and bring them down for lunch. Sam still loves T-T-Boom Boom's hair! He cracks me up! That first time he noticed her hair, he couldn't get enough of playing with her hair...and she let him! It was the best!
Earlier in the morning, we took a walk with Lucia and Robert. We went to the tennis courts, but they were occupied by a lot of lady tennis players. Since the ground was wet and a little bit muddy, we played in the culdesac for a while. They the boys decided they wanted to play in the mud, anyway. I put Sam and Andrew in the swings, while Robert and Will played in the sand. My little guys LOVE the swings. They laugh so hard, and it is the cutest thing! I didn't take my camera this time, but I do have several swing pictures on my clowneytriplets picture site.
After nap time and June's visit, Lucia and Robert stopped over to the house to bring some cabbage salad that she had made. I told her how much I loved cabbage salad from the restaurant, Alwadi. Lucia's cabbage salad was so good. She said that it is simple to make, and that she is going to teach me how to make it. The boys played for a while, and then L&R left.
John got to come home about a half an hour earlier today, and that was great! The boys love it when Dada comes home! They were in such a good mood after dinner. They were running around, chasing each other, and laughing. By the time we get our video camera, they usually stop--of course.
I went to Target to get some things tonight. Then, when I got home I had a little snack. I guess I'll head off to bed, now. Hopefully the boys will have a good night's rest without any coughing.

Busy Weekend...
It seems like it has been a busy week and weekend. Saturday morning was Linnea's shower. I think everything turned out really well, and Linnea seemed to have a really good time!
That night was the Young Women's Camp Fundraiser, which was also a lot of fun! I bid on Makana's necklace and Dalynn's babysitting/cake. The girl's were able to raise a lot of money for camp!
The boys stayed home from church today. Will and Andrew are under the weather, so we want to get them well before going to MS. I think it's allergies, but it still seems to knock Andrew off of his feet. I hope they are able to sleep better tonight than last night. I took the YW some cupcakes and Easter surprises, since I will not be there next week.
Ruth's shower was later this afternoon. The boys did seem to be doing better, so they were able to go. They had the best time playing with balloons. They were pretty zonked tonight, so it didn't take long for them to go to sleep.
This week is pretty slow compared to last week, which will give me time to pack and prepare for the MS trip. Tomorrow is a big laundry day! I am going to try to pack light with the idea that we CAN wash things. In the past, I have definitely been guilty of over packing. This time we are not planning to take a trailer, so we will have to plan pretty well. We're looking forward to the trip!

First Video Post
I finally loaded some videos on the computer. Here's one of the boys playing basketball.
Playing Catch Up
Sunday was a nice day. The boys have been waking up a little bit earlier lately, so we were up around 7am this morning. Sometimes, I could really use that extra 20 minutes of sleep. ha! I love this picture of Will and Dada.
After John lounged with Will, he was awesome to make the boys pancakes! They love pancakes! After breakfast, we read some books out of the book wagon, and then played for a while. As usual, we put the boys down for a nap hoping that they will sleep before church. As usual, they did not. So, after a while we got them dressed and ready for church. They were pretty good during Sacrament Meeting, but Will finally decided he would rather go out into the hall. Shortly after, Sam followed. John stayed in nursery with the boys, while I went to Sunday School. He said that Sam had a little bit of a difficult time, but that Will and Andrew were doing pretty well. Hopefully, they are getting better at staying in those "big boy" chairs. Poor little Will face planted on the first Sunday. After church, John loaded up the boys into the Jeep and accidentally ran over the diaper bag--oops--my cell phone was in the bag. It wasn't too big a deal. I was able to replace it the next day. The boys and I walked up to the Verizon store which is conveniently outside the neighborhood. We did get caught in the rain, so we ran to the Walgreens next door, until it stopped.
Monday was a pretty uneventful day. Yesterday and today we went on walks with Lucia and Robert. This morning we walked up to the tennis courts and let all the boys play with the balls. They seemed to have a really good time, but they did tire themselves out pretty quickly. The weather was gorgeous this morning! It will probably warm up later, so we may go to the gym.

I love Saturdays!
We started our day off with a delicious start at the donut shop. Snowflake Donuts is across the street, and they make the best donuts! Well, they aren't as good as Krispy Kreme, but they are verrrry delicious! The boys LOVE the donut holes. Will and Andrew love to hold one in their hand the whole time while eating another one. That makes for some very sticky hands--well worth it, though!
After donuts, we went over to to visit Grammy, Grandaddy, and Wiggins. Poor Wiggins probably dreads a visit from the boys. They love throwing the ball at him. They think he is going to catch it. They found a few other things to get into, and Sam literally got into the shopping cart.
After playing, the boys were ready to go home for a nap! They stood watching Dada clean out the donut remnants out of the cart.
The rest of the day was spent getting dirty outside. Thank goodness it was bath night!! Now, they're all tucked in the bed, and John and I are enjoying some Alwadi for dinner! YUM!

We had a great today! We took a walk with Lucia and Robert to Walgreens this morning. The weather is already starting to get really warm! Later, after lunch we went to the Y. The boys are getting better and better about not minding the daycare at the Y. They did a great job!
Andrew made me laugh so much today, when he was trying some of my grapefruit! I wish I had had the camera! He was licking the grapefruit and making a very sour face! I copied him, and that made him laugh really loud. It was so cute!
They are all getting good at making the sign for "down" when they want to get down from their highchair. Sam, is especially good! He is so proud of himself when he does it! I am pretty proud, too!
Will is getting really good at running away from me. He thinks it's really funny to run the other way, when I am trying to get him to change his diaper, put on his clothes, or get in his high chair. I try not to play the chase game, because I don't want him to run away from me when we are out in public in a potentially dangerous setting--like traffic. That was a good tip from my friend, Jennifer. Anyway, he has a huge smile when he is running away. Very funny, Mr. Will!
They love when Dada comes home. I usually say, "Guys! Dada!" and they start looking for him. Then, when they hear the door open, they run to the gate (that blocks off the kitchen) to see Dada. It really is the cutest thing! Today, Will threw the ball right at Dada for a good ole welcome home!
I probably should have added a disclaimer with this entry. I know that some of these posts would bore people to tears. I mainly write them, so that I will remember these little moments. When I have read back through other similar entries, I love hearing the smallest detail. So, I told myself that would I try to record as often as I could.
We thought about going to Galveston tomorrow, but we think we'll postpone it for another day. We are planning to take the guys to the donut shop tomorrow--mmmmm! Hopefully, we'll find some other fun things to entertain the boys, since it's supposed to be a really nice day!

I am listening to "The Potty Song" in the background. I have to say--that has got to be the most ridiculous video, but hey--maybe some of the content is starting to soak in to their minds. Ha! Who knows?! They have certainly picked up a surprising amount from the Baby Einstein videos, so I guess it can't hurt.
We haven't done anything to exciting today, but it was nice day for a walk. So, we did get a good stroll in with Lucia and Robert. We walked around the neighborhood and went to the Walgreens. The boys started getting a little bored for the first time, so we headed home!
They've all been having a good time wearing hats, but Andrew particularly loves his hats! He especially loves Mama and Dada's hats! I tried to capture a few pictures.

Okay, while I was posting this...we just had a dance party to The Vaccines. It is hilarious to watch the boys dance. The only bad thing is that they would like for us to hold them and dance! Ugghh---that is a workout! I took a few pics, so I'll have to post those at a later date!
Well, most of the pictures didn't really capture the dancing all that well. Also, my camera lens had something on it that blurred the pictures. Here is one that captured the moment pretty well. :)

First Post
Thanks to Brianne Stewart's Blogging 101 class, I decided to try out blogging. She handed out a piece of paper with a quote from Henry B. Eyring that was very inspiring!
Tonight, and tomorrow night, you might pray and ponder, asking the questions: Did God send a message that was just for me? Did I see His hand in my life or the lives of my children? I will do that. And then I will find a way to preserve that memory for the day that I, and those that I love, will need to remember how much God loves us and how much we need Him.
I am excited about giving it the ole college try! I will still use my Shutterfly Share for sending out pictures, but the blog will be in place of my LDSjournal.com.
Oh...went on a stroll with new friends in the neighborhood, Lucia and Robert. We strolled to the park, and the boys had a good time playing. The boys love to swing!!! They laugh so hard! I love it!
