It's Time to Print

My mom is visiting, and she was just saying that I should print out my blog.  I told her that I still had so many to go back and add pictures and more information.  I don't think that is going to happen at the moment.  I guess that's the way life goes.  She reminded me of how I printed out my annual photo books, so hopefully that will help fill in the blanks of unfinished blogs.  To close this book, I just want to say that I love my family more than anything.  I am so grateful for the boys and their special spirits.  Each of them has their own wonderful and unique spirit and personality.  I don't know what I would do without them in my life.  I am also so grateful for John and all of his help in raising the boys.  I look forward to that moment when he walks through the door, because I know what a tremendous help he is to me.  That, truly, is a blessing.  He is the best "dada" there is!  The boys are so lucky to have him as a dad.  Speaking of dads, I love and miss mine so much, and I am so grateful for John's dad.  Sam has been an enormous blessing to us.  The boys love their "G-Daddy!!  They are praying for him each day, since he recently took a fall.  They miss him, and they cannot wait to give him a hug again, soon.  I am also so grateful for the wonderful Grandmothers in Sam, Will, and Andrew's life.  They love their Grammy and "Leen," so much!  Leen is here right now, and I don't know what I will do when she leaves.  She helps me tremendously.  She does so much more than she should, and I cannot thank her enough! Thank you, dear family, for making my life so wonderful!

Ole Miss!

John and I had a great time at the Ole Miss/UT game!  Ole Miss won 44-23!  It was so much fun to witness an Ole miss win!  John and I drove to Austin Saturday afternoon, had lunch at a random Thai place, then headed to campus.  We walked around campus and had a good time people and sight seeing.  Then, we made our way to the stadium.  We had great seats, so we enjoyed being able to see everything easily.  There were a lot of Ole Miss fans, so that made it a lot of fun, too!  Of course, it's always even more fun when your team wins.  For John, it was bittersweet!  He was wearing his red and blue colors for Ole Miss, but he's also a Longhorn fan.  I appreciated the fact that he opted to cheer for the Rebels.  After all, it was the 20th year anniversary of our meeting in Oxford, MS.
The next day, we walked around downtown.  Then, we had brunch at a place called Olivia.  We didn't like it as much as Pearla, our last brunch spot in Austin.  It was nice to try something new.  We look forward to another Austin trip, before too long.  We were really grateful that my  mom generously watched the boys for us.  Many thanks to her!

Happy 4th Birthday, Sam, Will, and Andrew!!

My sweethearts are four years old!  I can't believe it!  We had a fun celebration on Saturday.  They wanted to have a superhero party, so they dressed up like superheroes.  Will was Flash, Andrew was Iron Man, and Sam was Captain America.  We had Super-dogs (hot dogs), chips, cupcakes, and more!  The boys enjoyed spending time with their family and a couple of neighbors.  They loved all their new toys.  Mama liked all the toys, except for the one that got stuck in her hair.  Too bad I didn't take a picture of that one.  Not sure who came from behind with the spinning propeller, but it created quite the hairstyle for me.  My mom was able to work on the knot for a while, and we were able to salvage all but a couple hundred strands of hair.  ha!  I surely do love my precious super heroes!  They'll always be my little ones!
